The build quality and materials of these lift struts seems every bit as good as OEM, and at a slight lower cost. That's a 5-star win in my book.Installation was simple, and after replacing the tired and leaking OEM lift struts, my hood opens itself and stays open again, hurrah! And it seems to me these actually seem to open with slightly more force than the originals, and they certainly take more force to close. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
