Markers are a pleasure to work with and there is a huge color selection to choose from. They are refillable, the nibs are replaceable.

I have had the opportunity to test out quite a few sets of markers. Once in a while, I find one that is a cut above the rest. This set is one of those.CASEThe case these come in is fabulous. It closes up tight, but opens like a book with pages you can flip through. You can leave it together if you like too. The back has a zipper pocket on it for storing the swatch sheet that comes with it and a few pieces of paper or stock.MARKERSThe markers themselves have two sides- a brush side and a chisel side. They are marked well and the colors on the ends of the markers are pretty accurate. The colors are labeled with number and name of the color.DO THE CAPS STAY ON BACK?When drawing, you can put the cap on the end of the marker but it won't snap into place, so if you move the marker suddenly it can come off. It does fit, however, and sometimes I put a little band from when my daughter had braces on the end and it stays better.COLORSThe colors are beautiful. The assortment is a nice blend of darks, mediums, and lights in color families. It makes for nice drawings.PERFORMANCEI did a quick drawing based on a tutorial I have done in the past where someone used a stamp of flowers in an envelope. I didn't have the stamp, so I drew freehand a similar picture to quickly show you how the markers performed. On marker paper, the results were wonderful. I liked it a lot.COLORLESS BLENDER?There was not a colorless blender in this set.PRICEThese are pretty expensive, however, they do perform well, come in a great case, and the caps can fit on the back if I want them to, so I will say it is a decent price for the performance and design.THE BOTTOM LINEThis set of markers is really nice. I am very glad I got it and like it as well as the most expensive markers I own including some of the high end ones.MY RATINGFIVE STARS for this one. Despite the higher price point, I think the performance is also higher end than others I have tried.
