Exceptional book for students and teachers of oratory
Both Volumes one and two are the best books on oratory I have read -- hundreds. Adams wrote that many writers try to add things on to great works so they can fly among the ancients. Adams uses the works of Aristotle, Quintilian and Cicero and doesn't try to expand on them but rather makes their writing clearer and more organized. The production of Volume one is perfectly presented and carefully assembled. If this is your area of interest, buy a copy.

Too expensive for multiple printing problems
I've been reading the Lectures on Rhetoric and Oratory books in my Google books library. I found it here and bought Volume 1 and 2. I had expected to receive a replica printing of the Google book, which is available for free online. Easy peasy.Instead the text is blown up to the point it almost qualifies as a large print book. I have no idea what compelled them to make the text bigger or to chop off the margins on top and bottom of the page. Their INSIDE LOOK shows the same huge big margins visible in the Google book that's what I expect that when I purchased the 2012 print. It was not the same printing so I returned it for the 2018 printing, which according to their INSIDE LOOK has the exact same margins as the Google book. Perfect. This is exactly what I want. But not what I got. Very disappointed given that these are reprints and expensive at that.I will post a screenshot of book, a photo of the misprinted cover, a photo with another book to show text size comparison and lastly I'll post a screenshot of the Google book online which is a scan of the original book. I cannot for the life of me figure out why they would mess with the printing text or margins.
