Arrived with no RST switch and was dead on arrival (maybe other components missing?)
The reset switch was not soldered onto the board and when powering via USB and 3v3/gnd pins the device is lifeless. Refunded.

Works fine with Arduino IDE
Works fine with Arduino IDE , it does not automatically connect to the IDE you must Press and hold the 0 button, then press and release the RST button, after which you will see it on a com port.

Know how to get out MicroPython
It is important to know how to get out MicroPython as it comes with it by default.1. Connect the board via USB.2. Press and hold Boot0 button3. Press and release RST button4. Release Boot0The board will restart and new COM port will show up in Device Manager.In Arduino IDE select Lolin S2 Mini and COM port.Select File->Examples->WiFi- >WiFiScanCompile and upload the scetch.The IDE will tell you that it can not reset the board and that you have to do it manually.Press and release RSTThe board will restart and show up on different COMStart SerialMonitor in IDE and you should see S2 scanning the WiFI for networks.All the best

Not working
tried erasing the micro python on it and putting circuit python on it and it and didn't work not once the led didn't light up nor did it read that it was a usb device.
