I first saw a similar one of these for exactly the same price (It was in Amazon 'recommended' email) but it was just plain and had no nice eyes.I then wanted to know what it was made of, and within minutes of asking the question, the seller replied, and I was pleased to hear it was resin and not pottery, so I ordered one, as a gift for my wife.When she opened it she absolutely loved it, she said it looks so cute and 'friendly'.I then fitted the Dot 2nd Generation into it, and unlike comments about the fit of the rival one it dropped straight in with no problems, the hole for the sockets lines up perfectly and I easily plugged the power lead in.With my model it drops very slightly below the top rim and if you wanted to or are very fussy you could put something under it to raise it so it is exactly level with the rim, but I didn't bother, as it is no big deal.Again, after reading comments on the rival one where people were saying that there were 'moulding' marks, I examined it very carefully, and there was nothing, it's perfect.Overall it is a lovely well made decorative ornament, which really compliments the Dot, and it also has the added advantage of raising the Dot up a few inches and I actually found it heard me better too.The speaker and microphones are on the top of the Dot, so there are no restrictions or problems there.I am normally a fan of buying the manufacturers proper case and my other two Dot's are in those, I would buy 'Owls' for them too but where they are in limited space, this is not possible.There is nothing wrong with the rival one and customers seem to want to paint them to brighten them up, but this one is SO MUCH BETTER straight out of the box !OK it isn't cheap nor expensive really, about twice the price of the standard Amazon one, which I was/am happy with, but this adds fun and is great to look at.I can't recommend it enough, as we both love it :-)

Nice well made ornament for ecko dot, bigger than expected will keep it, arrived on time but be aware it's big to sit on bedside table, but sturdy will keep ecko safe if dropped.

Beautiful design

Ich wollte den Echo dot besser "verpackt" sehen und mir gefiel diese Eule gut. Sieht gut aus, ist sehr gut verarbeitet (keine Grate etc.) und der Echo dot passt ohne Probleme rein, ist also wirklich paßgenau. Die Mulde hat unten noch eine weiche Auflage so das der dot nicht direkt auf dem Eulenmaterial aufliegt. Auch auf der Unterseite der Eule befindet sich ein aufgeklebter Filz damit die Eule ihre Stellfläche nicht verschrammen kann.Ich habe ein wenig den Eindruck, das Alexa etwas schlechter hört was aber bisher nie ein Problem war (kann evtl. auch etwas an der Raumakustik liegen). Was mir noch etwas fehlt ist eine kleine Kabelführung (Klemme etc.) damit das rückwärtig aus der Eule herausgeführte Kabel bündiger an der Eule anliegt bevor es die Stellfläche erreicht. Kann man aber auch mit einem Klebeband oder einer kleinen Klebeschelle erledigen.Auf alle Fälle von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Schönes Alexa versteck, nur so konnte ich meine Frau von Alexa überzeugen und es klappte 😂, sieht schön aus, Verarbeitung auch okay wenn Alexa auf voller Lautstärke dann übertönt es aber gegen dieses Problem kann man externe Alexa Boxen bestellen!Mfg

Tatal cool optik ist super.Jeder sucht mein Echo.Schade das man das Echo nicht auf Eule umbenennen kann.Wäre eine Überlegung wert sich den Namen von Alexa selbst auszusuchen

Die Eule war ein Geschenk für einen großen Alexa Fan.Er ist gut angekommen gut verarbeitet und sieht in jedem Zimmer gut aus.Das ärgerliche war das die Verpackung nicht beschädigt aber die Eule an den Füßen abgebrochen war.Ärgerlicher war auch das noch nicht mal ein Retouren Zettel beigelegt wurde .Naja da der beschenkte so endtäuscht war habe ich einen neuen Artikel bestellt und hoffe jetzt das dieser Heile bei ihr ankommt .!

Alexa hat jetzt ein schönes zuhause bekommen.Die Eule ist der hit. Jeder der bei uns zu besuch kommt findet die Eule voll süss und wenn Sie dann auch noch Musik spielt, will sie jeder haben.

und gute Umsetzung. Eule ist sehr stabil, schwer und ansprechend bemalt. Zugang zur Stromversorgung und zum Audio Ausgang ist vorhanden und großzügig gestaltet. Mir gefällt's.

Ich habe mir die Eule geholt damit ich nicht immer den Dot vom Nachtisch fege bzw unter Büchern,Pads und Ebook begrabe uIch dachte sie wäre etwas kleiner aber,... Sie sieht witzig aus und auch wenn ich zuerst dachte "was ein riesen Teil, geht es"Sie ist aus Kunstharz, ähnlich den Comic Statuen. Keine Gusgrate, keine scharfen Kanten, sauber verarbeitet.Nun zu den Vor und NachteilenVorteile+ Der DOT hat ein zuhause+ Der DOT wird nicht gleich als DOT erkannt+ Musik klingt besser, wegen des Resonanzkörpers der Eule (hier aber keine Wunder erwarten)Nachteile- Der DOT Braucht mehr Platz- Vielleicht subjektiv, aber manchmal meine ich Alexa hört etwas schlechter (ist aber zu keinem Problem geworden)Den halben Stern weniger gibt es wegen dem Eindruck sie hört manchmal schlechterFür mich überwiegen aber die Vorteile
