It's Good For The Basics
This beam is very practical for simple use. My 8 year old gymnast can use it to keep her basic skills (handstands, back walkovers, leaps, turns, and presses) up to par. I would NOT recommend this beam for more advanced skills due to the fact that the material covering the beam is slippery. The bottom is also slippery if you have carpet, so we put mats under it to stop It from moving so much. It easy for her to move from room to room on her own. She really likes it.

Great buy
Did a lot of shopping around for a floor beam for our beginner gymnast and this one is perfect! Lays flat on our carpet, haven't had any issues with it slipping or wobbling, and it feels sturdy. It easily folds away which is very convenient. Definitely recommend
