Mushroom Growing Kit - Elm Mushroom

I bought 2 of these mushroom kits this summer. I found it an interesting growing project. They worked quite well and I did get several crops of mushrooms. Worked much better than previous shop bough polystyrene mushroom box kits. Would make a fun gift for someone. Mushrooms were very tasty

Unsurprisingly tastes like a mushroom, can't say they where anything special but then being honest most mushrooms taste similar, may be slightly different textures but short of purchasing dried mushrooms you will not taste much difference. Fun to grow and probably one of the dearest mushrooms you will ever purchase. No criticism of the supplier, it is what it is. Now planted on my wood land hill, maybe i will get lucky and they may spread.

Absolutely brilliant! I bought these for my dads Xmas present and he was really pleased. They have grown amazingly easily and well. My dad was so impressed he's bought himself another four varieties !

Fab product. Not a big complaint but I missed putting them straight in the fridge for a few days because the label telling me to do so on the outside of the pack had been obscured by sellotape and a label.thankfully they still grew so all ok in the end

So far only had one medium size mushroom from it after following instructions for growing

Excellent growing kit, easy to follow the instructions, started to grow nicely, thank you.

Still no sign of any growth on this one, I am going to take it out of the airing cupboard in the warmth and put it outside since some one said in their review that when they put the elm mashroom kit out in the cold the mycelium started to grow? Will I get some more fruiting medium if this one does not grow as I do have my own straw.

I followed the instructions to the latter but the mushrooms went moldy & were very small. Ironically was going to chuck it in the recycling but thought "It cant do no harm just leaving it in the garden." Had more come from the garden, large to than I ever had indoors. Had it out of the box to & at natures will.
