Maggie And The Ferocious Beast - Pack Up Your Troubles [2000]

Bought for our 3 year old twins who are avid viewers of Nick Jnr, and Maggie and the Ferocious Beast is one if their favourite shows. First impressions were, oh no its some sort of unofficial copy as the voices are not the ones from the UK Nick Jnr TV show, and its very strange to listen too for a while. However i should really let the twins be the real judge of the video and after the initial comments of "Thats not the real maggie, hamilton, beast etc." they have watched it over and over and absolutely love it, hence the 4 star rating. All in all apart from the unusual voices a very worthwhile purchase!

I have just purchased this DVD blind, not having ever seen Maggie and The Ferocious Beast. My 3 year old and 5 year old absolutely love it, they love the bright colours and the fun but easy going storylines. The voices are also English and Not Canadian/American so a couple of them I recognise from other English Programmes which is nice.

Maggie and the Ferocious Beast shows are great for kids, but I must say that the DVD is now in BRITISH English. I am disappointed, because I'm American and I wanted the Canadian voices other reviewers had mentioned.

I am a Scot living in South Africa and my daughter and I have only watched the show in it's original Canadian "accent". We have always thought it was very funny. We will be most interested to watch the dubbed version of the show however, I do think that the original series is very humorous and the adults are making a mountain out of a molehill.
