I bought this to use with my very heavy telephoto lens to keep the weight on the tripod collar instead of the lens mount. It works well and allows me to bring the camera up to use it and put it back down beside me with ease. It sits comfortably on my shoulder which works great for long hikes. I would definitely recommend this.

Very good quality at a great price. Parts are finished nice and appear strong.My only complaint is the small safety strap only comes with a screw on loop that is difficult and slow to remove. I happened to have a quick connect carabiner for it, but without it, it is a pain to connect/disconnect.PHOTO SHOWS THE QUICK CONNECT CARABINER I ADDED.
