Something's missing..
[Original Review: 14/2/17]These headphones look great. They're comfortable. The packaging, which you'll probably only look at once, is nice. They're loud, enough. But unfortunately that's all the positive things I can honestly say about them.I lost my pair of Mee Audio M-Duo IEMs, which I may yet still get back as I think a friend picked them up. They're not made anymore and I've had no luck finding anywhere that's selling a pair for a reasonable price. I mention them because they're the only IEMs I've had that sound their best with the EQ totally flat. It took me a while to figure that out because I usually have to EQ the hell out of them, like I've had to with these Dunu's, and I still can't get them to sound right. The M-Duo's sound stellar with no EQ. The DN-12s sound, well, flat. That isn't the main issue though. They completely miss out entire frequency ranges. There's instruments I know are there, but they've been snuffed out of existence when listening with these. They look nice, though.I'm hoping to get my M-Duo's back. I'll sell these as they still sound better than stock. I may look at getting a more expensive pair of Dunu and hope they sound better. Other than entire instruments being missing and having to EQ the life out of them, they do sound nice.[Update: 15/2/17]How to make a £20 pair of DN-12s sound much better.Remove the paper/mesh ear wax filter. This is something I’ve been doing with my IEMs for a long time, but this is the first pair I’ve found that has more than just an ear wax filter. They also contain acoustic wadding. Don’t assume it’s anything special from the name; it’s nothing more than airy sponge.[Step 1]Grab a pair of tweezers/pin/pointy object and gently pick out the black filter from the tip of each earpiece.. and all the wadding should follow. Get rid of that stuff. All it’s doing is damping the frequency range of the drivers and trust me, it makes a huge difference![Step 2]Pop your buds back on, pop the IEMs in yer ears.. and listen. They’ve now opened up to the full dynamic range of the drivers. At this point you may want to adjust your EQ settings if you’ve made any changes. As for the wax problem? I’ve never had a problem after removing the filter. I keep my ears clean and I keep my buds clean. From time to time I’ll inspect for wax ingress and I’ll pick any out and clean the buds and just inside the tip with isopropanol cleaner. These IEMs have now gone from being 3 stars to 5. At this price, they’re hard to beat. I need to spend a few more days listening to them, but for now they sound a lot better than they did.

Nice solid feel
I looked at several magazine and online reviews before settling on these as the best low price/ decent quality for the occasional use they will receive. I have been travelling more by train and tube recently and started to appreciate just how poor the earphones bundled with my phone actually were. These give a far fuller and less toppy sound, and I would say quite natural sound without over emphasising bass or treble. My musical tastes don't run to bass-heavy music and I suspect they would be unsatisfactory for this. They feel very solid and well made, and come with a decent selection of spare ear pieces. The packaging is well over the top and could almost fit in my on-ear bluetooth headphones I use at home. I will have to use them more before deciding finally how I like them, but on the basis of my usage so far, they definiely rate "good" and a vast improvement of the bundled earphones I used before.

They have a nice range and clear sound
Have had these earphones for a year or so. They have a nice range and clear sound, perfect for easy listening to any kind of music. Unfortunately, one of the earphones does not work anymore, but this did only happen recently and after a lot of wear and tear.In my opinion, they are good for both outside and inside, but if you are wearing them while exercising, the cable does tangle easily as well as producing quite a lot of noise when it bumps against your body. Personally, I find them very comfortable in my ears with the default tips, but there is a little background noise from the environment.Overall, they are worth the money, but are probably better as a pair of backup earphones or looked after very carefully!

You have got to remember! They are less then £20!!! I have headphones worth over £1000 and..
...they are not going to be like some of your £200+ headphones but hey!! These do sound better then a lot of headphones up to £200 and I actually prefer them for daily use!! And this is why.....I have iem, onear, overear you name it I've had a lot of headphones / earphones....but some of them of would not want to take them out of the house! Lol and some I would be scaried of losing or breaking! But £19!!!! I'm gonna buy like 5 pairs! These I don't care if I loss them, break them or even give them away!!! I also have two other pairs of Dunu models much more expensive but £19 just wooow!I have done what someone else did on here, removed the ear wax layer plus pull out the foam...then get a good seal and you got great vocal, treble and great bass for less then £20!!!My daily driver for work is just my iPhone 7 but wow I think this are one set of earphones that I can't really go past 3 quarters on volume without hurting my ears!!Again Dunu thank you for a great quality built earphone with great sound at what!!....£19!!! 😜

Only if they fit your ear!
These earphones came in an impressive package with a leather protective carry case and had a very good review on at least one comparison website. They look good and appear to be well constructed and they deliver good sound when they fit properly. I have found it impossible to get them to fit for longer than a few minutes at a time. The problem appears to be the design coupled with the material used, the cone shape puts most of the weight of the metal body towards the outer end hence after a short period they move away from the ear which affects the sound quality particularly the base is totally lost. In addition I could not get any of the ear cushions (they came with 6 or 7 different sizes and types) to fit well enough to prevent external noises from making listening quite difficult. They are not at all expensive and certainly look as though they should cost more. If you are able to get them to stay put, I'm sure they will provide a good listening experience.
