I have the Rapala X and compared it side by side to this lure. I would say 99.5% identical. The paint quality may be a little better on the Rapala. The only other difference I noticed was the Rapala has bigger rattle weights in it. I have not had a chance to use this bait yet but I gave it 5 stars because of the price and near identical appearance. I paid around 8 dollars for the Rapala and for a few dollars more you get ten of these....... UPDATE.....I had a chance to use one of these. I used the white with the red head on it. The weather had been cold the past few days so I expected the fishing to be slow. I was fishing in a tank/pond. The swim action was not as good as the Rapala on a steady retrieve. When you Jerk it like it was intended for the the action was on par with the Rapala. This lure is also neutral bouyancy. I even had a fish hit it put pulled off. All in all, worth the money. I would probably drop the 5 stars to 4.5 because of the slow swim action.

I swear I caught a bass on my first cast with the black color. I then lost the lure in a tree and didn't care because it was equivalent to a $1.19 bait. And I have 9 more. Worth the money. They look like a mini version of my rapala xrap. The books came very sharp i did the fingernail test and they were great. But the did seem like a cheap metal that might straighten out if you hooked anything above 2 pounds. They have a very wide wobble and small bb's that rattle. That will be awesome for spring and summer fishing not so much the cold months.

Well.....I finally got these in my hand.....went fishing in the rocks where I met a school of running jacks most were about 3 and a half feet but managed to hook one that chased my white lure out the set and loss intrest once it got close to the lure.....EVERY TIME!.......finally one about 46 inches long took the lure and i did reel the fish in but come to find out the hooks are weak and the fish got off right at the rock edge like it was just saying hi. FAIL..... SAVE YOUR MONEY

While these look great in and out of the water, they won't swim. You might as well be pulling a painted stick through the water. I wish I had tried them before throwing all the packaging away. I would have sent these back.
