Excellent tea filter
if you want to brew loose leaf tea in a mug then this is perfect. It has a fine mesh that keeps all but the smallest particles of tea leaf in the flilter and out of your mug. The base is perforated so that all the liquid drains away allowing you to leave the tea to dry out for a second brewing, ideal if you are using a high quality Darjeeling or green tea. There is plenty of room in the filter for the tea to circulate and brew, this can be a problem with the small "ball" type infusers. The filter will fit most mugs, unless they have a really wide brim and wil happily sit on the bottom of a cup, regardless of the brim size. The filter has a thin trim and a flat section that extends to one side. The filter has to balance against the side of the mug; I also have a filter with two flat sections and this sits more securely in the mug though it really isn't a problem (unless you live on a fault line and experience regular tremors). The filter is well made, simple but elegant, and is very good value. Chuck out you tea bags and enjoy some decent tea.

A little too small to be easy to use, for us.
The infuser seems well made after three days of use. I generally agree with other comments made and would add that with the infuser standing on the drip tray it is sturdy enough to allow a teaspoon to stand in it; a useful feature. However the arms of the infuser are too short to span the diameter of the cups and mugs that we use, this spoils the experience somewhat as the infuser slips into the tea/mug. Perhaps then an infuser best suited to those with smaller cups and mugs. The quality of loose tea is so much better than teabags, so we will struggle on. If you are considering buying measure the diameter if your mugs first and determine if this infuser is for you.

Kind of does the job, but could do better.
Bought this to make ginger and lemon tea using leaves. The filter is okay but the mesh is not fine enough and results in quite a lot of bits floating in the cup.I was surprised by how light It is and it does not feel particularly strong. I bought it for £6.20 and, although this is not huge amount of money, I did expect better quality. The best I can say is that it sort of does the job, but I will continue to look for something better.

Fine Filter.
Does what it says and filters tea leaves, herbs etc. I use it in a mug but sturdy and big enough to use in a pot.2 handles would be better as lid tends to cling onto the filter. So best to have a saucer handy and just take out the whole thing.

Four Stars
Is good, but ones with a handle on both sides would work better..l

Very happy
Works a lot better that those ball-shaped infuser things. Only the very tiniest tea leaves make it through the holes. The little plate it comes with stops it from staining your counter. Very happy with this, I can finally ditch teabags.

Too small to sit properly in some of my mugs

just started buying 'proper' loose leaf tea, so this is perfect. It may not be quite as convientant as the tea bags, but with good quality loose leaf tea, it's always worth the little bit of extra effort required.
