Ikea MOPPE - Mini chest drawers, birch plywood - 42x18x32 cm

Brilliant

There is nothing wrong with the drawer set - very useful for odds & ends all over the house. But... this is an Ikea plywood box that retails in Ikea for eighteen pounds. Unfortunately it cannot be ordered from Ikea online (they will deliver furniture but not small accessories like this). The price here of nearly £40 including delivery is just ridiculous. There seem to be a number of Amazon marketplace suppliers of Ikea products who are adding enormous mark-ups.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I needed something to sit on top of my dressing table that I could put my mirror on and this was the perfect size. The drawers are useful to hold make up and bits and bobs. Its amazing how quickly I filled up the drawers!.The box is plain wood so it is ready to paint. I have painted mine and it looks really good. My only slight criticism is that the drawers are a bit tight to pull out but this is to be expected with this type of box. I lightly sanded them before painting and that seems to have helped.
