Apple Studio Display - Nano-Texture Glass - Tilt-Adjustable Stand

My wife absolutely loves this display's anti-reflection capabilities. She went from hating using her computer in the day time to loving it. I got to be a hero by researching various displays and reading all the reviews and choosing this one for her. I honestly think if I had chosen a display with a traditional anti-reflection coating that she wold have told me there was no difference -- but the nano-texture glass is kinda amazing.

Typical Apple plug and play. I had a 15 year old iMac (I had installed a solid state hard drive) and didn't want to sacrifice any screen area and the new iMac screen was smaller. I went with a mini mac and the studio monitor to keep the same screen area. The new monitor was worth the expense. The biggest part of the upgrade was cleaning my desk off to make room for a new battery back up. I have a Bose computer sub and speaker system and learned that I couldn't hook up the studio monitor speakers and the Bose together. The studio monitor speakers were really decent quality but I had to stick with the Bose system. I obviously don't change systems unless I have to and this was not a big deal to hook up a few wires.

Why did I wait so long to buy one?? The perfect complement to my new tiny Mac mini.

The sound is incredible! Wow. That creates an experience in itself. Love that it has 4 usb-c ports. I connect it to my MacBook Pro. Coloring and brightness is fantastic. The nano coating does a great job with glare. I have a window directly behind me. Only downside is the price. Too expensive imo.

Love it beautiful color and sound and video comes thru crystal clear.

Listed as a new Apple Studio Display. when it arrived, the Apple box was taped shut with masking tape and 3rd party barcodes were placed on the monitor. The monitor was clearly used and did not work. Complete rip off. Buyer beware.

Loved the old Apple cinema displays from back in the day. I was hoping to bring this back around for that same feel and boy is it beautiful. The resolutions are great and really do a wonder. On bringing out the crispness of the image. Where I ran into issues though was Zoom calls and compiling in XCode on an M1 Mac Book Air and a M2 Air. CPU utilization would bounce up to over 300% and everything would lag down, with and without center stage on. It was disappointing as it also gave off A LOT of heat. Otherwise, highly recommended!
