This is much better than the previous sleep mask I used, in terms of it being a more effective mask because it has thicker padding and the sound is of a much better quality - the previous one was very tinny. Time will tell if the components last longer as the previous one developed a faulty connection and took a lot of jiggling to get it to work, which was not relaxing and became quite stressful! I would highly recommend this to anyone who has problems sleeping as it's comfortable enough to wear all night and I just put on another recording when I wake up.

When I need to take a nap in the afternoon, these are wonderful. I play an incredible boring audio tape quietly and I drift off nicely. The wire is very thin and could be longer.

Comfortable and easy to adjust. Headphones a little quieter than and I would have liked and cables seem a bit flimsy.

Having been burned by short-lasting sleep headphones before. At first these seemed high-quality and they are very comfortable. After around two weeks, though, a large section of the plastic surround on the wire has come off in normal use, exposing the bare copper, despite claims of "super-high quality Kevlar-coated cable". This is a dangerous fault. These lasted an extremely short time, shorter than any other sleep headphones I've ever owned, but yet more expensive. Quality control is just not there. Avoid.

As headphones, these work well. The sound quality is great for the price point, though a little muffled by the cushioning (which can't be helped). They go loud enough to be able to hear them fine even with earplugs in. The cord is very thin, but I've not managed to break it yet (and I'm pretty clumsy). I'll be using them in bed.As an eye mask, they're good, but unfortunately let in a lot of light around my nose, no matter how I adjust them. This may be due to my small head (I have to wear kid's hats) but I keep my room pretty dark so it works.The only real issue I have is I can't sleep in them. Due to disability I'm at risk of bed sores, and unfortunately lying on my side all night with these on caused a (mild) sore on my ear. This probably won't affect people who can move normally during the night, but I wanted to mention it for others like me. Despite this, they are very comfortable and I'll be using them for relaxation and similar. For sleeping I'll stick to my normal Hibermate :-)

I've used earphones over the years for exam revision (recording my own notes and playing them back!) but as I've got older I've got less tolerant of this in my ears so I was interested to see how these work. I found them really comfortable and the sound volume was just right for the levels I wanted to hear. Once I got the hang of arranging the wires I found that I was happiest on my back listening rather than on my side so I reckon these would also be good for longer flights where you have to try to sleep in a reclined chair.Yes some improvements could be made but these would be to a product setting a high standard, I've used other Hibermate products and they are all in good condition after years of use.
