Aluminium: Aluminium is a great material for costume jewellery. It is strong but extremely lightweight, does not tarnish or colour the skin in anyway and polishes up to a great shine. Copper and Brass: These are beautiful materials and a lovely alernative to silver coloured jewellery without the expense of gold. They will oxidise over time and will need polishing if you want to keep the shine, some people prefer the natural ageing look these take on over time though. Our brass and copper jewellery will be coated to slow down the process of tarnishing but this will wear over time. They can colour the skin when this coating wears off but you can recoat with a clear craft varnish. Sterling Silver: Any sterling silver product thats is over 7.78g, in accordance with UK law will be hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office.
