**Q: Is this for cleaning the brush etc?**
A: No it’s the raw wax uncoloured used for encaustic painting. So you can use to dilute the colour or add a layer of wax .

**Q: Is it clear once hardened?**
A: Depends on how you apply it and how much you apply. The thicker it is, the more opaque it becomes but if you're adding thin layers it should remain pretty clear.

**Q: is this suitable for making food wraps**
A: no it will crack
