I followed all the directions, watched the videos and had my boyfriend help me. Couldn't get it to work. Contacted the company and they were wonderful. They sent me a replacement and that one did fit. The replacement also included a metal clamp that really does hold the 2 ends together. The only problem is that the clamp is rusting really badly.
