I was expecting a dramatic change given all the blurb and even the product description on Amazon's page, but this is still very much Sleigh Bells. The main changes are probably a little more structure to the songs and Alexis' lyrics are fuller than on previous albums.Thankfully I waited until I listened a fair few times before reviewing because it did not have the initial impact the other albums had, but after a few goes, it definitely grows. A fantastic album all in with a slightly more mature sound, but unmistakably Sleigh Bells.If you love their other albums and their original sound then you should love this, but I recommend giving it a few goes before making your mind up.
