Universal Sight Automatic Soap Dispenser

This is an excellent sight pusher. The fact that it cost only $40 and is made in America makes it even better. I used it on my glock 19X and the rear sight easily came out. Then I put my new sight in and it went in very easily. I used a ratchet on the nut which made it a breeze. That is a great concept of being able to use a ratchet to do it. Makes it super easy. There is no reason to buy another one. Especially one that cost far more. The pusher part has a flat end and an angled end depending on how your sights are. That too makes it much easier. It didn’t hurt my glock finish at all. I believe it’s made out of non hardened steel to prevent it from being too sturdy which would cause issues with the slide. This allows the tool to take brunt of the pressure and not the slide. Another well thought out idea. I am very glad I purchased this tool. Give it a shot.

I have an eye that doesn't seem to match any sights. So for years I have either had to pay a gunsmith install adjustable, but larger and not convenient sights, do the adjusting for me, or I would have to beat on my pistol with a punch and hammer to adjust my sights. Not anymore. I have been able to adjust sights myself and this tool has already paid for itself (and made my gunsmith just a little bit sad as he says this tool is bad for his business). I have adjusted the sights on a couple new 1911's, a Sig P238 and P320, and a Glock 42. I have also helped a couple buddies adjust the sights on their Sig's, 1911's, etc. It really is universal, works really good, and is easy to use.My only critique would be the side blocks are not held onto the adjusting bolts and you have to be careful or they fall out. It doesn't hurt anything, you just put them back and continue on adjusting to the slide. But I don't have the dexterity with fingers that I did a few decades ago, so while it's probably not even worth mentioning it's kind of annoying for me.I highly recommend this tool.

The sights are notoriously tight on the M&P Shield; however, this universal push tool easily removed the the old and installed the new replacement sights. Saw several cringe videos of folks trying to manually force the slides off with a hammer and brass punch and in a few cases bending the punch. The tool is well built and made in the USA!Giving the tool 4 stars instead of 5 because there is no mechanism to measure if the sights are in center alignment. This would be a nice to have improvement.Helpful Tips1. Be sure to remove allen set screw from sight, if present2. Soak with WD-40 for a few minutes to facilitate removal and install3. Firmly attach bottom of sight removal tool to a stationary table vise (trying to hold and remove by hand is too difficult; go ahead and make the job much easier)4. Wrap slide with removable masking tape of use cardboard to prevent scratching the gun slide5. Make sure gun slide is making contact with slide side wall, leveled and secured (tool adjustments tightened) before engaging the push tool6. Pat yourself on the back for the smart purchase, handy DIY work, and saving $'s by not using a costly gun smith (who very well may use a hammer and punch to force the slide on and off)

I bought the "Universal Sight Pusher Tool for Handguns" to install my a set of Dawson Precision sights on my new Glock 43. Typically, I'd always ask a good friend of mine who is a certified Glock armorer to install new aftermarket sights on all my other Glocks, but since I wouldn't be seeing him for a few months and was anxious to shoot my pistol at the range before the cold season set it, I decided to strike out on my own and get the Universal Sight Pusher Tool for Handguns.Once I received the Universal Sight Pusher Tool for Handguns, I was a bit nervous about undertaking the replacement of the Glock factory rear sight, but after getting the slide of my Glock 43 properly situated inside the tool, it took me fewer than 5 minutes to push out the factory sight and insert the Dawson Precision replacement sight to what looked to be a generally centered position.Then, being as portable as it is, I took the Universal Sight Pusher Tool for Handguns with me to the shooting range to sight in the new pistol. After shooting a few rounds and determining that the sight was just a bit off to the left. No problem! I safely removed the Glock 43's slide right there at the range, nudged the sights rightward just a little, and dialed the rear sight in perfectly.The Universal Sight Pusher Tool for Handguns allowed me to do all my own armoring for the sight replacement, to a very fine level of detail; no need to pay a specialist or wait for a friend to do it! One of the best things about the Universal Sight Pusher Tool for Handguns is that it is MADE IN THE USA. 'MURICA, BABY!

This tool works great and is well built. Once unboxed I oiled the threads as instructed (I used light marine grease) and ran the pusher fully side to side). There were tiny amounts of binding on the threads initially. This was very slight. Remember this is brand new. I feel it is normal. After two cycles it was butter smooth.Also, take your time aligning it. Make sure the slide is set up, aligned and at the right height. Once set up this tool makes easy work of tight dovetails. If you have to use too much pressure something is not lined up. If it is straight and not angled it will push the sights out perfect. I see photos of some using this tool with it not aligned correctly. This can cause an issue.Overall very pleased and the quality construction leads me to believe this tool will last a long time.
