Great Clock when it works! I bought one of these and thought it was great for the kitchen - looks good and is silent! So I thought I'd buy another one for the hallway. Unfortunately the one that arrived didn't work properly so I sent it back. I ordered another one and that didn't work properly either so I sent it back. So I ordered a fourth one and that does work and looks great in the hallway.So it's a good clock and very reasonable price. Just ensure you check its working properly before destroying the packaging incase you have to send it back! The Amazon returns process was very quick and easy though so it wasn't too much effort.

Decent clock, not too large and silent, at least as far as these ears can tell. Not much weight to it so can be used in all sorts of locations, i.e. does not need a large screw in the wall to hold up, a small(ish) 'tack' will do. Needs an AA battery, not supplied, standard plastic twist 'nob' on the mechanism to set the time and away you go. Not too sure of it's accuracy, mine seemed to lose 4 mins in the first 24 but that may have just been settling in although as I bought two of these at the same time and t'other didn't lose said 4 mins maybe this one is duff, time will tell :-) Numerals big and easy to see without peering - unless one is a long way off that is!UPDATE : 10th November 2015. I have two of these clocks and they really are not great at keeping time. One seems keen to lose it the other is more than keen to gain it. They are fine if all you want to know is the hour and a rough idea of the minute but don't bank on one of these for that important meeting or event! Reduced from 4 to three stars on that basis.

When this first arrived, I was wholly impressed. A large, clear face and it was absolutely silent. Just the kind of unintrusive clock I needed for my bedroom, where I study a lot of the time for final year of uni. Unfortunately, since the clocks went back and I altered the time, I can hear a faint ticking. It's nowhere near as loud as a regular clock but I didn't buy it so that it could go from silent to not-so-silent in a matter of three weeks. It's still a nice clock but I'm glad I waited to leave a review. This shouldn't put most people off, it will be exactly what they're looking for - just be warned that is may end up not quite silent: just very, very quiet.

I searched for this clock again because I want to buy a second one for my office at work. We bought one for our son's room when he was 4 and it has held up really well. It really is completely silent. It is also very lightweight and we are holding it up with a command nail on the wall. It only uses one AA battery and that lasts a long, long time (I think we've replaced the battery twice in nearly 4 years).

This clock is an excellent product ,my wife has macular degeneration and has great difficulty with central vision missing has to get up very close to most things .With this clock she Is able to tell the time from eight away! Stylish and smart looking it is refreshing to find a British quality product that does the job once again. I wish to order another for her office area.We had a problem with a week late delivery which was disappointing , but this does not reflect in anyway from the pleasure I feel at seeing the return of my wife's ability to read this clock so easily, Thank the designer for me. Highly recommended to anyone requiring a smart functional silent clock. Rod Bowering.

Bought it for the office because the load ticking of previous clock was driving me mad. This one looks just like our old clock ony it really is silent. Had it 2 weeks now and works well - keeps time. I previously bought a different brand at home which works fine, but this one really is silent. Design is basic hence only 4 stars.
