I travel internationally several times a year, and finding a reliable, all-in-one travel adapter is always a challenge. I decided to try the TESSAN Universal Travel Adapter on my latest trip, and I am SO glad I did. It’s the best travel adapter I’ve ever used! Here's why:1. This universal device has been with me from most of Europe and China, good quality and has little weight for the cost, really straightforward to use with a simple latch on the side to release different plug adapters, the quality of the connectors is great too, has no problem powering devices with the outlets across the world, and USB connectors for additional charge devices.

The adapter is a bit weighty, but no issues.Pity though it did not come with a travel bag at this price point.It is approx 2" wide on each side and 2 .25" tall approx.It covers most of the known world and looks well built.Have tested all its functions out using the UK adapter and it works very well.No issues with charging my iPhone or Mac.It describes the charging arrangements on the plug, so you know what's what.It is fused so that gives a level of protection, just have to remember to carry spare fuse with me, though it does contain a spare, just above the fuse holder, nice.

The TESSAN Universal Travel Adapter Worldwide with 140W of USB power is for me the perfect travel adaptor. It works with sockets in countries that I frequently visit, though frustratingly it doesn’t offer proper earth pins, which for Australian sockets would be useful as it would add some extra stability in the socket.The adaptor happily charges my laptop at 100w over usb-c and at the same time my phone and camera from its 3 usb-c and one usb-a socket. After that you still have a multi country socket you can connect devices to; this could be another usb charger or anything else you have with a plug on it.It doesn’t get hot when deliver power to devices, and if you trust it could be the only power source you travel with.It is bulkier than most travel adaptors, that size offsets carrying a travel adaptor and a usb charger for me; so, my overall travel package is smaller; for short trips it’s the only adaptor I travel with a set of usb-c cables to compensate for badly placed sockets.Hopefully they can do a version 2 with a surge protector inside.

Bought this for our US holiday, and it was great - and also works right across Europe & Scandinavia, (NB this DOES NOT change voltage - so check any devices you are using this with can work at 110V if you are going to USA - this plug just accepts the AC input, and then converts to DC USB voltage, or a socket on the back of the plug at the same voltage as the plug at the front.One word of caution specific to USA - the sockets in the USA are always a bit rickety, and because it is a bit heavier, this plug adapter falls out of the socket quite easily, meaning 2 things;1 - you need to sort-of support it when plugging in to an upright wall socket - whereas a couple of cheaper USB adapters I bought are much lighter and don't have that problem2 - there is no easy way of knowing if this plug is getting power if you are using as a charger, without checking with the charged device - and sometimes it starts charging, then the rickety US sockets budge, and the charging stops - a nice light on it when getting current might be nice, (as the 2 much cheaper adapters we bought as back up, have).Overall I DO recommend this device - it is well made, and super-versatile - I was really impressed with it. It is light, and does not have any protruding "prongs" when you are packing your luggage - I wish we'd had this last year when we did a tour right across Europe - because it is so versatile. Hope this is useful, and I do recommend this.

Very impressed with the ability to charge multiple items at the same time taking just one plug for all my various items (2 ipads, 2 mobiles). Preformed well during a trip to Thailand & Vietnam. Only negative point I faced was the unit is heavy and in two hotels in Vietnam I had to wedge the charger into the plug as it would not sit properly in the wall socket.
