Reviews seemed too good to be true. They were.Issues:1) Adjusting outward (i.e. making it bigger) is not smooth. The catch sticks. I had 1 out of the 4 stick and then fly apart, with pieces going every where.2) Even when installed and with maximum tightness, I was able to pull the clamp up. It was advertised to fit my vehicle. It could be a fit issue or it could be a clamping force issue. In either event, no way am I putting a cargo carrier on this thing and then driving hours on a family vacation.3) Locking mechanism sticks. Again, 1 out of 4 had problems just getting the covers off to assemble.4) When installing, the piece that slides into the rubber channel is pretty difficult to fit in. It took several tries to get it to go and even then it was not in as intended.5) Instructions are deficient. Watched the video, read the instructions. Pictures in the instructions are blurry (i.e. is that the rubber piece or is it miscoloration?). Instructions make no mention of making sure the rails are square. Might be common sense, but they should be telling people to measure and our make sure the rails are level. Video leaves out the whole rubber piece in putting the covers on, which is the hardest part.6) Arrived late.I do think the materials were of good quality. It could be that this was just on the tight end of tolerances but given all the issues, I had lost all confidence in the product when I had it installed. I could not trust it on my car on a highway.

These crossbars look much better than the pictures. They are solid and strong.They are easy to install and the locking feature is a great additional anti-theft feature.Large hardcover travel luggage ontop without any problems.

I haven’t ever considered the fact that someone would want to steal my cross bars, but I have to say that I am glad they lock. These are easy to install and look great once you put them on. They feel really solid and appear as though they will hold up well over time. They have held everything I have placed on them, with no problem.

This product is advertised to work with my vehicle and despite following instructions and watching video on how to install this product it ended up flying off my car on the Interstate Thank goodness no one was hurt. This product does not secure as tight as other rails and I would strongly suggest against using these..

These flew off our Tahoe with all our luggage and ended up in the middle of the Interstate! Do not purchase these!

One of the end pieces, that was ‘locked’ on, flew off while driving. Can’t contact a real person to order a part or return, customer service goes in an endless loop from the seller to Amazon and back 😣💔
