Bought 30 days before I needed it for my project. Well window for return closed on the day I had my guy install it. Well it doesn’t work. Bad motor and now I’m stuck with it. Should have longer time to return.

NEW INSTALL - there was never an over head light in the room. Previous to ordering the product - We added a heavy duty joist ceiling fan electrical box in the ceiling and new wiring to accommodate a normal 32" fan. The new wire is 4 strands - black, white, ground(copper) and red. My daughter then chose THIS boho styled caged light/fan that is 16" in width, petite in scale to fit a small 11.5x12 foot bedroom. Using the provided instructions we capped the red wire with a wire nut and electric tape. Tucked the red wire up into the electric box as it is not needed for this install as it has a remote and no pull cords. It was Very easy to install: the black, white and ground(copper). The regular wall switch operates the light ONLY. Remote operates both the light and the fan. The fan is very quiet and on highest setting produces a great deal of air movement. As stated,The remote can turn on/off both the light and fan. When you change the wall light switch back to - turn on the lights, they will come on even if the last setting on the remote was to turn off the lights. The light bulbs are small base chandelier, E12 that produce a warm light. The picture was taken right after install before the room was completed.Down side - The light could be a little brighter, there is a 3 second delay upon hitting the light switch and it beeps pretty loudly. However -The product is sturdy. She and I have small hands so it was easy to install the bulbs from the top of the unit. The bulbs are LED so in 5 years- we will probably have to unscrew the structure, take down the light/fan to change the bulbs from the top side.

my husband is handicapped and had a hard time turning on normal fans with the remote he just click and it is on or off

Product arrived broken. Two light sockets were dangling. Looked through the box for possible broken pieces. Couldn’t find anything. Looks like it was packaged already damaged.

Fan is small, more importantly, the lights were inoperable upon installation. Returning product
