Mine arrived without original/shimano packaging but the levers calipers and hoses all branded shimano. I bought a Walmart bike for vacation home that had mechanical disc brakes. This was a simple and super cheap upgrade. Now the bike actaully stops! Recommended. The bike came with internally routed brake cables. Since this was pre bled i just ran it externally and zip tied to the frames cable bosses. Worked out prefect. If i ever have bikeshop service bike ill have internally route it. Bleeding brakes is not my specialty.
