Not too big. I also bought 2 cttw, meaning 1 carat in each ear... These are the prettiest and just the right size to get attention, without being showy... I believe the 5 cttw would be too big, meaning 2 1/2 carats each ear, or 5 carats in each ear, depending on how it is labeled and decribed, as you can get each type of size from these earings. Very beautiful! Smaller is better, facets more compact, and have major sparkle! **Q: What kind of jewelry box do they come in?** A: they came in a nice black box with a soft felt backing. I cant remember as i have slept since then.
