Matty's Pet Stop Cat Arch Self-Grooming and Massage Station with Scratch Pad and Catnip

My cats love this thing so much, but it almost didn't get put together. When it arrives, you have to shove the fuzzy black "U" into the base, and the plastic tips are too big for the tiny openings. We took turns trying to shove it in, and it didn't work at first. The instructions acted like it was supposed to be simple, and we wondered if we were supposed to take the orange plastic tips off. (Hint: Don't do that.) Finally we tried one last time, and somehow the plastic conformed enough to go in. It's supposed to make sure it stays in no matter how violent a cat gets with it, I suppose, but it was a hassle that made us think the product was defective at first.That said, the bristles are a nice middle ground between hard and soft, and the cats love rubbing up against it and playing with the mouse. Both mouse and bristles have stood the test of a couple months now with our cats that like to destroy things, so I think it's a very good product despite the headache of the setup!

Cats do like it. They ripped off the tail within one week and the silly thing has a tendency to wrap the mouse string around the coils so I have to constantly unwrap it for them to be amused again.It needs to be taller and with a heaver base as it moves too easily and is less likely to remove excess hair from the cats.

Like the arch helps in self groomingThe arch falls off not secure so lays on the ground and cats cannot use it at all. After awhile you cannot put back in as loose. Only lasted a few months. :(

Design is top heavy with a base plate that’s not sturdy enough to keep it upright. Returned for a refund.

After having purchased a virtually identical version of this item sold under a different brand, we had high hopes that it would be of similar quality, however, we were sadly disappointed when this version broke at the base after less than twenty-four hours of use by our 8 lb, 6 month old kitten.Although our cat loved playing with it, it simply is of substandard quality and, as such, we can in no way recommend it.

My 7 month old kittens LOVE it! They just can't help playing with the mouse every time they walk by it. Even my 18 month old great dane puppy loves the mouse. The kittens are just figuring out how to rub on it, but they seem to like that too.

It works, but was a pain to put together. This was designed cheaply, so the holes in the base that the arch fits into aren't big enough. I actually had to drill out the holes so the arch fit into it.

It broke within the first 2 minutes of opening the package!!! I am a 5'3, 110 lbs girl and I guess my strength of putting it together was too much.
