Perfect fit and easy to change
My A/C was being given its annual checkup. The tech found the 45/7.5 uF capacitor to be weak and recommended that it be replaced. The cost would be $167 for out of warranty and not that much less even if it was in warranty. I declined the repair because it still worked. After the tech left, I went back out to the condenser, removed the corner cover to measure the cap with a plastic ruler for approximate dimensions, and took a picture of the label, and put the cover back on. I then ordered a replacement from Amazon and it arrived 2 days later. The swap was easy and straightforward. I turned off the breakers for the condenser and air handler, removed the corner cover, marked the 4 color-coded wires, pulled off the 4 clips, loosened one strap screw, removed the other, compared the ends of the caps to see if they were the same orientation (they were), installed the new cap, put the leads back on, turned on the both breakers, and saw the A/C was back up and running. I put the corner cover back on and called it a day.It couldn't have been easier to change and I saved over $150.

Literally blew up same day
Unfortunately, it didn't last 6 hrs before it blew up. Caused a hell of a mess. Burnt up some of the wiring as well which had to be repaired/ re spliced. I had ordered an additional capacitor , different brand, as a back up. After repairing the wiring and cleaning up the mess, the other brand capacitor was installed and seems to be working fine. I'm still concerned that some other problem caused the capacitor to blow, as its only been a couple of days, but as of right now it does appear that this capacitor was defective and is being returned.

Works great
I live in the mid south and it's beginning to get pretty hot and humid! This was no time for an air conditioner to break down. But guess what...it did! Whew! It's so hot out I fried an egg on the hood of my car! But my son ordered this part for the air conditioner. It was quick and easy to install and now I'm just enjoying the cool air! Ahhh.......

Great to have one of these on hand
It is the size and capacity of the specification as shown on the label and verified via a capacitance meter. Not much to review until I put it to use. These are always good to have around as a spare if you are just a little handy you can avoid hundreds of dollars to call a repairman especially if you lose cold air on a hot weekend or holiday. A bad cap is one of the most common reasons in my experience for failure short of a leak or the fancy communication control stuff they have on units now.Updated Review:I have never seen this but in August during the hottest day, our AC went out. I could tell it was on the compressor side not starting. I checked the cap and it checked good though it looked shabby. I cleared the code showing some weird error, not the cap, and the AC started right, me up scratching my head. The next day the AC went out again and I checked the code this time showing the capacitor bad. I checked it and it was dead, so I replaced it with this one that I had on hand just for such occasions and it has been performing well since installation - I am very happy!

Failed in 4 months. Buy one to use on a/c and keep one in the drawer--youtube advice
EDIT: After installing this in late May, the A/C did not work by late August. Had the diagnostic person out, $89 later....the capacitor I had just replaced was dead. Had the second one, he installed it. I do not know how long it will last, but expect to get an all in one for the drawer for next time. Not sure if they sold me a defective capacitor, a really old one...or it's a bad product. Just be aware. Order 2, and learn how to check if it is working every 3 months.1:1 replacement for my a/c unit's capacitor. Had some yahoo creeps come out to 'service' the a/c. They did nothing but offer: expensive yearly maintenance plan, tell me the capacitor was going out & would be between $300-400 to replace. I laughed at them. They were supposed to clean the unit. they hosed off the outside (i've already done that) and did not even take it apart. Do yourself a favor, buy 1 to have around for your a/c. Learn how to maintain your unit on youtube, save the cash. I paid $10.xx for this capacitor...changed it in 10 minutes. (the tool, a klein impact driver cost me $44, was worth it).
