8MM Tungsten Metal Men's Wedding Band Ring in Comfort Fit and Matte Finish Size 7-16

I was a little skeptical when I saw how inexpensive this ring was, but had heard of tungsten carbide and I wanted to give it a try. It's made partly of the same metal used as the filament in incandescent light bulbs, among other things, so the material itself isn't too expensive, but the effect is stunning. Tungsten has a melting point of 3422 degrees Celsius, so if you want a ring that represents endurance in a relationship and and will stand up to a lot of heat - both theoretically and physically - this material is a great choice. It has a very weighty feeling to it, which I personally like, and has a comfortable fit without any annoying edges. The brushed metal finish is also attractive, and the thickness of the ring is aesthetically pleasing. As a last note, the words "TUNGSTEN CARBIDE" are etched onto the internal face of the ring, but they're in pretty small letters, so it's negligible. The sizes are standard and true, so it has a great fit. Highly recommended. However, if you're buying this for a wedding, don't tell anyone it was under $15.00 - they'd never guess otherwise. (Plus, if you save money on your ring, you can spend more on getting your girl/guy a nicer ring, and to be honest, that's going to impress a lot more people. Have knocked it into glass, metal, stone, concrete, etc. and still no scratches, etching, or dings. It seems indestructible. I originally had a 10K white gold wedding band and found out I was allergic to the nickel. If I had my ring remade (it was a custom ring) I would have lost $500 since I paid $700 to have it made and my jeweler offered me a $200 scrap price. I opted out of losing my original band and paying an additional $1000 for a molded palladium ring. So I found this one for an everyday ring and kept my 10K one for special occasions & keepsake. So far I've had no reactions to the nickel in this ring, and it fits pretty well. I'm not sure how anyone is saying this ring is too big. My original ring was 9mm wide and I have small hands. This is an average sized ring for a men's wedding band. Size is spot on. Also the color is slightly darker than the product image, more of a gun metal gray but still looks great. As long as I don't have an allergic reaction to this ring, I will keep it and gladly buy another if it ever cracks or I need a different size. You cannot beat the price.UPDATE: It has been about a year now wearing this ring and this thing is awesome. I've had no allergic reaction to the ring like I did my white gold wedding band. It is also just as shiny as the day i bought it. I 100% recommend this ring (and other tungsten rings) to anyone who asks me about it. A close friend is to be married soon and I showed him my ring. I then took it off, scraped it along a concrete surface, and showed it to him again. He was impressed by the strength of the tungsten not even getting a nick from the concrete. I wear this ring to work out, gripping the rough grips of bars without hesitation. I wear it to work on my vehicle and ding it on everything and get it covered in grease and grime. This ring is perfect for the man who wants to hold nothing back while wearing it. And for the price, it cannot be beat.

My husband and I LOVE this ring!!! I bought it for him because his gold wedding band of 17 years has a lot of wear and warping, allergic reaction and just not easy to get off at the end of the day. He cannot wear his ring for work as he works in manufacturing, so being able to put on and take off his ring is very important. This ring fits all the checkboxes. Easy on off due to the comfort fit, it's comfortable, looks expensive and nice, great quality, gets many compliments on it. He loves it and it's only been a few days! I had ordered 3 different sizes. 10, 10.5 and 11. The 10 and the 10.5 he is keeping but the 11 is a little too large. Since we were unable to return the seller gave us a credit and told us to keep the ring and do what we wish with it. Amazing Customer service and much appreciated! I researched many rings on Amazon & read most reviews on here before deciding on this tungsten ring. We were getting married in Halloween & wanted a good ring but didn't have a lot of money to spend on a ring. I got online & researched what to look for in a tungsten ring. The biggest thing that I could find was that the ring needs to have a nickel binder inside when it is made & 85% is the best percentile since too little & it can shatter easily & too much & it will be too hard to remove in a emergency & would not break off a finger. They are designed to break into 3 pieces & actually can save your finger in most cases as other rings will deform & injure your finger more in an accident. I have been wearing it daily since receiving it & love the feel & look. I compared it to my buddies several hundred dollar tungsten ring. & other than his having a small diamond it is exactly the same looking. I just paid $20 & saved several hundred so that's even better & it has a lifetime warranty so it's totally worth it to me. We are now looking to get my wife one since she likes mine so much. I gave this ring 4 stars because it took 3 different purchases to get the size right. I went to a jewelry store and was sized at 11 but that was too big then went down to 10.5 because it was suggested that since the size of the band was 8mm thick, I should size smaller, but it was still too big. Finally settled on size 10 and it fits snug, but not tight. It will come off with ease when I get my hands wet.Overall the build of the ring is pretty high quality for something that cost 20 dollars. I have had it for 3 months with no sign of scratches or cracks. the middle of the ring is a nice brushed metal with shiny borders. It did take a while to get used to since it's pretty heavy, but I don't think I would have chosen any other ring.
