Godox XPro-N XProN TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Nikon

One of my favorite transmitters. I honestly prefer this transmitter over the newer touchscreen ones. I think the durability of these are so much better and much easier to control. I’m not an old head photographer but I just think it works a lot better and is more efficient. I also like how instead of charging it you just throw in batteries. Imagine pulling up to a shoot and you forget to charge your transmitter, you would be in big trouble.

Product was delivered in perfect condition and worked great. I accidentally dropped it (along with my camera 🫣) a couple weeks after the return policy date and with customer service’s help I was able to return the damaged product for a full refund and purchase it again! I was originally concerned with it being battery operated but the entire month I used it I never had to change the batteries. It lasted through at least 6 hours total of shooting time - probably more. Which I’ve seen rechargeable triggers lasting just a couple hours so I think this is a better option. I do wish it had the ability to see what the battery life is as I’m always a little worried it will die during my photoshoot, but I just carry extra batteries in case. Connects great with my Godox flash, no issues. Good enough to buy a second time! Thanks customer service!

I’ve been using wireless chargers for years and they have come a long way. I started with radio popper, which was extremely reliable, but only synced to 1/250th of a second. I really wanted high-speed sync but nothing existed at the time which was compatible, reliable and affordable. I tried pocket wizard a while back and it was unreliable required at firmware update what you had to pay for and had a very short range. I decided to give Gidox a chance, and I was pleasantly surprised. My use case is a little unconventional. I use my speedlite in manual mode and change power levels at the flash rather than the controller. This allows me to move around a space to light it from different angles and intensities. I’m also glad that the Godox system uses AA batteries. This makes it much easier to integrate into my kit.

I love the improved simplicity over the prior model XT-N. Using this with a Nikon D610 body and Godox model speedlights. The basic functions work very well. I could not get the TCM function to work consistently. This function transfers your TTL setting into a Manual setting and would be handy when setting exposures without the need for a flash meter. However, I will say that at least it gets you close enough so that you can adjust the manual output. I would use this feature when doing outdoor portraits.

I e had this trigger for more than five years and I still use it today. Connects easily with my godox speed light and continuous light. Pairs well with my Nikon z62 and Nikon d750. Settings are easy etc. great quality. 10/10

This upgrade from the previous wireless remote controller is much better and easier to use . . no more hitting your head and changing the settings when shooting . . good LED display shows settings and is much easier to define which flash you are setting, as well as the other flashes you are controlling. Use it on all 3 flashes: Godox V1, AD200 Pro, AD600 Pro . . . in light modifiers and stand alone flash, gives me complete control and ability to set (and change) each light as needed. Still some getting used to, but once you are familiar with setting and controlling the unit, it is a GREAT tool in your portrait or wedding photography toolbox! Would definitely buy this one again!

UPDATE 09/25/18 - I was sent a replacement unit by Pergear, and the new unit works as advertised. I had one of my AD600's set to low power and triggered it rapidly for 40-50 flashes and it didn't drop a single flash. I would strongly recommend testing the unit when it arrives, and if faulty request a replacement before you plan on taking it on a real shoot. That said, I look forward to using this on my next photo shoot. The interface improvements over the X1T are significant in my opinion. ---- Original Review: I wanted to like it, but out of the box I have two problems, one minor and one major: 1.) The battery meter display always shows more than 2 bars, no matter how fresh of batteries I put into it. I even tried another brand of battery, still two bars. 2.) The big one... it doesn't trigger my AD600 strobes consistently. If I take 10 photos in a row it might actually trigger the strobe perhaps 5 times in a totally random manner. Sometimes it will work 3 shots in a row, only to drop the next three, sometimes it misses 1 out of 4, catches one, and drops 2... either way the miss percentage is much, much too high. I took it off the camera and use the manual trigger button on the XPro, but even using this method standing less than 6' from the AD600, it still misses a larger percentage of triggers, even if I set the strobe to minimum power so it recycles pretty much instantly. This is with one strobe... I can only imagine the chaos if I tried to trigger both my AD600's and both my DE300's when doing studio work. I updated the firmware to the newest version on both the XPro and both of my AD600, and this did not resolve either issue. Note that my old X1T-N works perfectly. I can press the manual trigger button as fast as I like at 1/256 power and it misses maybe one out of a hundred shots if that. I don't know if I got a bad unit or what, but I'm not impressed. It's too bad because the interface is leaps and bounds better than the clunky X1T, but I'll take reliability over a pretty interface any day of the week.

Puedes tener un emisor para cada marca de cámara y usar inalámbricamente los flash GODOX que tengas dedicados y con el correspondiente receptor X,los de otras marcas. Si el referente hace años era el PocketWizard ahora es GODOX. E alcance es sorprendente.

J'ai travaillé avec plusieurs émetteurs photos au cours des années passées, mais je doit reconnaitre que les systèmes flash GODOX dépasse, et de loin, les capacités et compétances de nombreux appareils, car ils respectent et tiennent vraiment toutes leurs promesses, et pas seulement qu' en studio photo. Pour ma part je l'ai associé avec un : « GODOX X1R-N » Leurs possibilités sont très nombreuses et vous avez ici un bel ensemble, auquels : ⇨ Le Zoom, ⇨ L'ouverture, ⇨ La vitesse, ⇨ Le type de travail, etc. peut-être réglée par le biais de l’émetteur via le large panneau d’affichage incliné ( en LCD, ) ; Ses 5 boutons de groupe dédiés avec 11 fonctions personnalisables. Pour seul défaut : il n'y a pas de notice d'utilisation en Français, mais l' utilisation reste assez simple. Pour ma part, que ce soit pour la qualité du matériel et sa simplicité d'utilisation, ☞ la stabilité des signaux, ☞ ses capacités de synchronisation ( sans fil ), ☞ Supportant le mode TTL, ☞ Le i-TTL, et le mode Manuel “ OFF ” ( arret ), ☞ La gestion de vos canaux différents vous permettant de commander plusieurs flash à la fois, ☞ Via une portée maximal de 100 m. Je n'ai aucun regret de cet achat. J'espere juste que ce petit commentaire vous aidera dans votre choix, Perso. il me semble que les 5 étoiles en sont bien merités.

Excellent upgrade to the original Godox triggers. These have a more intuitive interface than the previous models, and are priced to sell.

Come da descrizione il trasmetittore funziona perfettamente, riesco ad usare anche il vecchio SB400 caduto nel dimenticatoio, chiaramente va collegato ad un ricevitore X1R. Attenzione ai più distratti come me. Leggere le istruzioni soprattutto la pagina 36, MODE, ID. Se non si mette sul OFF di flash non ne vedrete nemmeno uno ;)
