I always said we'd NEVER use anything like this, but our youngest made a liar out of us, lol. He's smart, strong, quick and mischievous, and we are just not willing to take the risk of him getting into something. These take a bit of finesse to install...I'd recommend starting on your least vulnerable cabinets and saving the most important ones for last. That way you've got the hang of it and they'll be done well. It was annoying at first, but using them soon became habit and it's worth every bit of peace of mind knowing he won't get into the dangerous stuff when our backs are turned. In a perfect world, he would respond to all the teaching we've done to keep him out, but in the meantime these will do the trick.

Works as designed - IF you know what you are doing!
I bought these expecting to need to add a screw to secure them (as is usually the case with anything adhesive). To my surprise, all 13 locks and catches have remained securely attached to my cabinets. I haven't tried to see how much force it would take to rip them loose, but I have exerted way more force than any toddler can exert and these locks haven't budged.I installed them on 3/4" solid cherry cabinets and they hold and release perfectly. The magnet opened the lock within about 1/4 " of touching the cabinet. I normally just touch the cabinet with the magnet and have never had a lock not release. You need to align the catch part properly to the frame. I find you want a bout 1/16" to 1/8" gap between the catch and the lock's hook when closed. In other words there should be a slight bit of play so that the door can open just a bit before it hots the catch. This allows the latch to securely engage when the door closes and also prevents the catch from holding the lock arm fro disengaging when using the magnet. If you affix the catch too far back, the lock may not catch - or it may catch tightly so the magnet doesn't have enough power to unlatch it.On my frames and with the snubbers on my doors this means the front edge of the catch sticks out about 1/8" to 3/16" past the frame. You only see this when the door is open. (The back edge of the catch is about flush with the back of the frame.)

Very easy to install. Stayed sturdy. 3 broken out of 16. Can't get them exchanged.
I will try to add updates, and picture steps to help install. I gave 4 stars for now. There were three broken ones. That's nearly 20% of the items. They get stuck in the unlock position, or don't lock at all. I contacted the seller. I would recommend testing all of the locks. Push the switch down to the locked position, and test with the magnet. If the spring doesn't pop up when you pull the magnet away, the cabinet won't be locked.*Update* After much back and forth with the seller, they will not send replacements for the broken ones. They will only give a partial refund, which is useless. They want me to use the refund option through the app. that would require me to return all of them. I've already installed some. I have to buy another pack and will have more than I need now. However, the locks are working great. None have fallen off, and I've accidentally yanked a few drawers hard before remembering they had the lock on them. Didn't budge. Only problem I have is a structural issue. One drawer is missing the tracks. So it doesn't stay locked. Make sure you fix your drawers and tighten any tracks to ensure the locks can latch. The instructions are not super thorough, but I figured it out pretty quick. These are extremely easy to install. The adhesive seems very strong. They are difficult to pull off if you need to adjust. It took me less than 10 minutes to prep and install 6 locks. You should use removeable stickers to mark the outside of the cabinet. It's hard to hear the unlock click. The magnet has to be pretty close to unlock it.I'm going to write how I did it, and I'll try to add pictures later.1. Prep the surfaces. Wipe area with isopropyl alcohol on a cloth. Wipe until the cloth stops getting dirty. Let dry.Size up the locks to the surface. I didn't prep enough space and had to do it twice. I used 50% isopropyl. 3M recommends 50/50 90% and water.2. Move all of the locks to the unlocked position. Push the lever up until it clicks. The spring will be flush with the lock. You need to leave them unlocked for at least 24 hours after install to make sure the adhesive is strong.3. Put the latch (small thin piece) in the top of the installation cradle. It will click into place.4. Take adhesive backing off the latch, and align the installation cradle with the edge of the cabinet frame. This will make sure the lock sticks to the door when you shut it. Press the adhesive onto the cabinet frame.5. Take the adhesive backing off the lock. Position the lock into the installation cradle. Close the cabinet door.6. Open the cabinet. The lock should be stuck to the door. The installation cradle will still be stuck to the latch. Grab the bottom of the installation cradle. Gently push down and away from you to click the cradle off of the latch.7. Press hard on the latch and lock for 30 seconds. I added this step, because it works well with command strips.8. Mark the outside of the cabinet. Screw hole stickers come in wood shades. They are small circular stickers to cover screw holes on furniture.9. Leave locks in the unlocked position for at least 24 hours for the adhesive to adhere properly.

Greatly easy fix!
Good product. I can’t drill cabinets in my apartment and my cabinets don’t have knobs or handles, so I needed something easy to remove. That’s magnets work like a charm. I’ve had them up for two months and have had 2 out of 4 sets come off, but I think it’s because of the heavy varnish on my cabinets. It comes with extra 3m adhesive tape so I just reattached it and it’s fine.

Easy as can be, should have got these sooner!
This product is honeslty way easier to use than I could have imagined. The included install "tool" (more a template bracket really) makes installing these beauts a real ease. I can't believe that I didn't get these sooner. Keeps the pups and the kiddo out of the cabinets, and no permanent drilling into the wood! No lasting damage or even a sign they were there. Totally awesome, just wish I'd been smart enough to order them sooner to avoid chasing my son when he got into the pots and pans!

Several locks arrived broken and/or break after a few uses
The idea is great, but the instructions provided make it impossible to install without watching a few YouTube videos. Then several of the locks were broken upon arrival (thankfully we only needed about 10 for our kitchen). After installing them, a few of the locks broke or would not stay locked or the adhesive came undone. Save yourself the hassle, time and money and go for something that's easier to install and more durable.

They don't work!
Loved the concept of these locks! I take care of my young grandchildren and was happy to not have to put something permanent on my cabinets. They aren't permanent alright! The adhesive sticks to the door, but it doesn't stick to the plastic locking mechanism that is supposed to stick to the door. I've reached out to the vendor twice and they did respond and promised to send replacement adhesive pads (I've used all adhesive pads in the box - though I haven't used all of the locks.) and I still haven't received them. Extremely disappointing.
