The HORL 2 Walnut Rolling Knife Sharpener is a premium German-engineered sharpening system featuring industrial diamond and ceramic discs with interchangeable 15° and 20° magnetic angle supports. Designed for all knife steels, it delivers precise, durable edges with a smooth, play-free roller mechanism and secure magnetic holder, making it the ultimate tool for professional-quality knife maintenance at home.

## Description

The HORL 2 is the result of the latest developments in the HORL roller grinder family. Two grinding angles and interchangeable grinding wheels provide even more options for sharpening knives. The press assembly and built in ball bearings create a completely new, play free rolling feel. The industrial diamonds we use are suitable for all knife steels of every hardness and can be sharpened efficiently without water. If used properly, the HORL Diamond Standard never needs to be replaced. The grain size of 46 μm grinds efficiently and precisely. A high quality sharpening result is achieved in a short time. After processing with the HORL Diamond Standard, the ceramic honing wheel refines the grinding result significantly. Just a few movements are enough for this. The result is a smooth and cleanly ground knife edge. The 20° grinding angle ensures new sharpness in a short time. The knife retains its sharpness for a long time thanks to the stable cutting edge and is suitable for a wide variety of cuts in everyday kitchen use. It also gives many pocket knives a stable cutting edge and excellent sharpness for daily use in the outdoor area. Industrial diamonds are considered to be one of the most durable and efficient abrasives on the market. The monocrystalline diamonds are harder than any knife steel. Using a galvanic process, the diamonds of the HORL Diamond Standard are fixed to a nickel bed by around 55%. The initially rough surface becomes more refined after the first grinding processes and the HORL Diamond Standard has achieved its desired grinding surface. The combination of strong neodymium magnets and the HORLS pad enable the knife to be securely fixed during grinding. Reinforced by the anti slip effect of the S pad, even small blades can be grinded to the desired height consistently and reproducibly.
