Not much weight. It would probably hold it, but you'd have to tighten the thing down to the point where you're damaging the threads.

Q: How small does this close down to for packing for travel?

It doesn't collapse the boom and the boom broke. Buy a different stand.

Q: Will the mic clip be able to hold a scarlett focusrite mic. It is a small hand size mic . I just wanna make sure it will fit around it n hold weight?

I would go for a beefier stand. It's worth the money to never worry about it keeling over.

yes...even holds my Sennheiser e935 which is thicker with no problem
