Great book just dont do the audio
Great book. Read it instead of the audio book. I did the audio book and it was a little painful to hear the reader. I mean why cab they not ask questions about things they are not sure about or don't k.ow. like SOI pronounced S.O.I. not SOY as in soy sauce. Then again that's how's it's read so unless you were in The USMC i guess you would.not know that.Just small things like that piss me off. Other than that great book.

Good story.
Good story. A different Marine Corp than I remember but that was awhile back;-) Heard an interview with the author by Buck Sexton and decided to buy the book. It was worth it. Better story than the American Sniper, of course that was written by a Squid!

HARDCHARGER
A very well constructed and written work of life in the fast lane. A lot of people have this epic misconception that Marine Infantrymen are window licking crayon eating knuckle draggers. When in fact they are very intelligent and the author describes his youth and formative years , transitioning into a perfect killing machine as a HOGHe’s humble and prideful in the same moment and doesn’t suffer fools in the Officer ranks. He passionately passed his knowledge base to anyone smart enough to listen , thus saving Marine Lives. This book exceeded my expectations.

A Tribute to Excellence
A well told story that makes a great contribution (in detail) to understanding the competence and valor of those who gave all in one little corner of the Iraq war. A great example for any walk of life on the commitment and attention to detail required to achieve true excellence. A great read from a Marine’s Marine!Semper Fi

Eye opener
An honest and open account of life. Before, during, and after the Marine Corps, and surviving war as a Scout Sniper. As a subscriber to SOFRREP I was lookig forward to this book and Damn glad to have read it. Highly recommend to anyone interested Marine Corps Scout Snipers and their role in the GWOT.

In depth and behind the scenes
Awesome first hand account of eyes on the ground and the grit of the OIF/OEF conflict. Jason. Aside from the war, Jason gives you a snapshot of what the training and experiences was like that lead up to him becoming one of the Marine Corps top Snipers and Sniper Instructors. If you get the chance to meet him, he’s a great guy and can captivate his audience with his stories the same way he does in his books.

Taking the fight to the bad guys
We training these guys up to become the best warriors in the world then do very little to assist them to assimilate back into the world when their mission is complete. We ask “how did they get this way?” We made them! Great story, enjoyable reading.

THRUSTS READERS INTO THE ACTION | Must Read
Delgado gives readers the feeling of what it is like to be in his boots - that visceral, heart-pounding fear and exhilaration all wrapped-up into one. The sounds of bullets whizzing by. The snap of the impact. The terror and excitement that Marines feel are almost indescribable - but Jason does it in BH4/3 page after page. Semper Fi! Major Scott A. Bello, ma...
alquanto ripetitivo e pieno di termini da gergo militare che, spesso, rendono difficoltosa la comprensione...bei momenti, ma nel complesso noioso!
