This thing is powerful!! Im very happy and so are my Koi fish
This pump is heavy duty and works as described. I’m honestly so happy with it, I think I will only purchase these pumps moving forward. Amazing quality for the value. I will update everyone in 6months or so to confirm longevity. If you’re looking for something with a really strong flow and a heavy duty design that is really easy to clean this is the pump you want!

Moves tons of water perfect for 1000g pond
This pump kills it. If you want to move lots of water then get this pump. I'm sure this thing is pumping at least 3000 gallons an hour and thats after my filter and long hose leading to the other end of the pond. Is it going to last I don't know I just got it a few days ago I'll update in six months. A good tip to keep pumps going for along time is keeping debris from going in your pump. Build a pre filter, or use a sponge to rap around it or something and don't let the impeller get gunky. Clean it regularly cause if you don't it burns pumps out. Beware if you have small pebbles or sand and dirt in your pond and you don't protect this pump it will surely suck them in because of the amount of water it moves. Update lasted six months for me I'll be ording a back up pump. This thing is awsome still running strong. Worth every penny. My pre-filter I built out of a milk crate and sponge works perfect to protect this pump as well.

Well worth the money!
The media could not be loaded. Bought this pump 2 years ago. It has ran 24/7 since I installed it, all year including winters. The pump has very good flow while pumping water vertically a little over 6 feet. The pump sets in the deepest part of the pond which is just over 4 feet. A rock came loose (dogs playing around pond) and fell on the pump. That knocked the blue cap loose and caused the pump to quit pumping. Once the cap, which was unbroken, was placed back on the pump, the pump worked like new. After 2 years I can not tell any difference in the functioning of this pump. If it ever stops working I will purchase this pump again.

The flow is “not” variable
Although this pump works great. It is too powerful a flow and it cannot be adjusted. The directions say it is adjustable, and the manual that comes with it shows an adjustable knob. But I have only a flat blue plate. I can’t use it as it waters the area around pond, and by end of 2 days the pond is empty. I feel I was misled on this purchase.

Flow to Cost Value
I ordered this pump in a crunch after my main filter and waterfall pump started to fail. My main pump is $450+ while this pump was $70. The quality and design is quite evident although both pump's gph flow about the same rate. I cannot comment on longevity as I just got it, but I can say I would trust this pump for intermittent utility use, but not my main pump for long term years of service. Looking at both impellarsxfrom each pump, its definitely not as durable looking.I might suggest further protecting this pump with a screen bag to filter out more larger debris to reduce impellar damage for long term. Hopefully the motor lasts longer than a couple years. The warranty is 1.5 years....which is decent for the price point, but my main pump has a 3 year warranty and lasted 9 years. I would recommend this pump for certain application and may buy another for water movement, but not as my main pump.

I cried today losing 11 fish to the violent flow of this pump with NO adjuster
I cried today losing 11 fish to the violent flow of this pump with NO adjuster. I have a previous model of this and assumed it was the same..this one has a violent fish killing flow. This is very sad. It needs a flow adjuster. How awful. My poor fish were pounded to death and shock of this flow;((

Grate pump for price
Moves good amount of water with very good head pressure. Given the low watts usage it say 140 but on meter normally around 100 or less. Had one running constantly for 1 year in fish tank cooling loop. With no issues and a rise of 10 feet in 1 inch pipe. Dose the job. Was good bit large than other models in there line. Almost 2x bigger than next step down.

Poor housing quality
The handle broke before I even got it out of the box. Seems a little sketchy already
