Cute Cat Diablo
May sound silly, but Ive been more hooked on this than i was on Zelda earlier this year :)For the price, its great! It has an awesome bright and cute art style. Fun cat puns, (must like cats to enjoy the humor I think). Great loot reward feeling, ("...I just have to grind one more box at the blacksmith's shop before bed..."). Easy to master combat, but you cant just mash buttons, (must learn enemy patterns and roll). On the ps4 I have had a few weird slow down glitches, (in caves it will sometimes do a hiccup or pause, which is bad for twitch combat like this - and its obviously not taxing the PS4 hardware so I'm not sure why it does it???). And I do wish it had either multiplayer or an easy mode so my younger niece could play. But those aren't deal breakers -- its a small team that made the game -- and I'm having a blast myself. Its like a cleaner, cuter Diablo style game. I can see the fetch quests getting repetitive. But I bet the game will end by then (Im level 52 and Ive played 7 hours or so? Trophy for level 99 so thats my goal.). Hope they make DLC or "Cat Quest 2" so we can see some neighboring kingdoms, (dogs! mice!).

Amazing little indie gem
This is an amazing little title by an indie developer in Singapore; a port of a mobile game. While I liked the mobile version, the controls drove me crazy, so this was a day-one purchase for me. The writing is awesome and the game play is addicting.it isn't just a Zelda clone in that you actually get an indicator of when and where your enemy will attack, and you then have to dodge out of the way. This gameplay loop made it so hard to put down. The writing is fantastic, the characters are adorable, and it's more than soulless fetch quests. My only gripe is that, because this is a startup by a brand new developer, there are quests that literally lead nowhere, or even sequel-bait. This game SHOULD get a sequel, don't get me wrong, but when you invest in something to them be told "LOL, SEQUEL," it's kinda of a buzz kill. Regardless, for the price point ($20 physical and $13 digital) this is a no-brainer. I loved this game from start to finish, and even started a new game the day after completing it so I could focus on magic. There simply isn't a game like it right now

Took me by surprise. Rock-solid ARPG that'll make a couple days fly by.
Bought it for my girlfriend because she loves cats and doesn't PS4 game very frequently.I ended up playing it myself and beating it in 2 days. It's actually way more solid than expected. It's a simple affair - one giant overworld, a few background music tracks, and a host of similar looking/feeling caves locked to various levels. All of the equipment is on a random loot-gen system... But somehow, it doesn't feel like a hideously paced free to play game like I feared. The cat puns kinda suck, and the story is...serviceable at best. But man, as a cheap game, it's remarkably solid. The combat is way better than expected - a simple one button melee afair w/ 4 possible sub-spells at once (from a total list of 7). You upgrade spells w/ gold, and you can use gold later in game to guy weapon chests to roll for more loot. Simple, but effective and well directed. The quest system is similarly simple - find quest boards w/ exclamation points, run to a zone / kill stuff.I platinumed it after about 12 hours, and I had a good time doing so. Simple enough for a kid to play and enjoy, engaging enough for a lifelong RPG nerd / classic game low-leveler to have a good time with.Play it! You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Great experience.
Excellent game with real charm. The amount of content for the price was good. I probably won't play through it again because I don't see much replay value in it, but that doesn't detract from the great gameplay. The story doesn't take itself too seriously, but at the same time has some depth within the overall plot.I hear there's a sequel on the horizon. I hope it too comes to a physical format.

This game is a god awful overly simple hack and slash game with cat cuteness. If your best and only friend is a cat then this game will be okay for you. Otherwise this game is a dull 6 hour experience

Great game!
Fun little game that is addicting from start to finish. Length of the main game is pretty short, so powering up your Kitty seems a bit unrewarding. Story isn't too compelling, but for cat lovers and those who can stand puns galore, it's amusing. Soundtrack is memorable. For Platinum Trophy hunters, this is a great title to get the platinum in one or two sittings, and actually fun! Lots of references to hit video games and movies to make you feel trendy.

That I feel was what I liked most about it
Cat Quest was a simple traditinal fetch quest rpg. That I feel was what I liked most about it.Wasn't bogged down with a high level learning curve. What liked the least, was the ending felt confusing. The weapons, armor, and spells were really really cool.Over all Cat Quest is a great price for the content, gameplay, graphics that it has. Enjoy fellow feline lovers.

Concepto bastante ingenioso.

4-8 age range
Good for kids 4-8 in my opinion. Very simplistic game play. No real motivation to advance. Played 10 minutes and passed it over to my 5 year old nephew. He likes it.
