Vulture Strike-2.4Ghz Indoor/Outdoor Drone Helicopter Toy with Missile Launcher Feature, Blue & Orange, (US858170)

Perfect for my 8 yr old son. My 5 yr old daughter has even dabbled with the controls. It's really fun that it shoots missiles with a lighted target. It has a stable flight with minimal trimming needed, at least so far. I'm sure as the propellers "age", the flight may change. It does come with an extra set of props, which will come in handy as it takes on more crashes. The only thing that is slightly annoying (at least for the adult who is used to flying a lot) is the battery is self contained, and you have to charge the whole drone once the battery dies. It's not my drone to modify, but that would be the first thing on my list to do. Other than that, it's great for the kids. It has held up for multiple flights, but I can see how other reviewers would have trouble with the motors. It's a $40 drone, which may have hit or miss motors. I've purchased $100+ drones where the motors would malfunction after 2 or 3 flights. Motors can be tricky that way, and sometimes it is a game of luck. It's been since Christmas, and it's been holding up so far. Fingers crossed. I'll update the review if I have any problems with it.

My 13 year old son loves this drone and the fact that it launches darts is an added bonus. The only problem is that it does not hold a charge for very long and he needs to recharge after using it for about 10 minutes.

I flew it once the normal ways then It started spinning on the opposite direction and never flew again. I returned it.

This Drone is an awesome beginners drone! It was super easy to learn and fly's great and the kids love the missile launch capability. It works great for indoors and outdoors its just the right size for Kids 9 and up!

First drone we've owned that can take a beating and not break. Flies super high and is pretty easy for my 6-year old to operate. The major bummer is that you can't replace a battery when it runs out. You have to recharge the entire thing so you have about 10-15 minutes total fly time before you're back inside.

Worked great for first run. After charging fully and trying again, the front blades began spinning backward. Tried reset, trims, and turning off/back on. I am an engineer and cannot figure out what went wrong. At first I thought the gyro was messed up, but that functionality is working just fine. This is apparently not an uncommon problem as I see, out of 8 other reviews, a few other people have had the same issue.This is a defective product and I feel like I was scammed.I can only hope that others read these reviews and this company does something to make it right for the purchasers of these defective toys.

Love it - amazingly stable and very easy for my 10 year old son to fly and shoot.

This was exactly what I wanted. My 10 year old saw this at toys r us which was sold out when I went to buy in. The drone from amazon was the exact same, in box, brand new. It is easy to fly and control for him. Great drone for learning . The bullets even shoot out well. The laser light is really just a red light that can’t be seen in anything but darkness. Overall very pleased with the item
