JBL Boombox 3 - Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Squad (Renewed)

I decided to take a chance on getting the "renewed" model and I'm glad I did! I see nothing that indicates that this is anything but brand new from the factory- original box, manual, charging cable is sealed, everything appears brand new, never before opened or used. Great way to save $100! Now if you don't care about the hundred bucks and you're just looking at sound quality... WOW. I have a few Bluetooth speakers (it's a sickness), from "basic" value brands up to more well know makers like EcoXGear to Bose, Harman Kardon, etc. I don't have another bluetooth speaker that sounds this good all across the volume range. None. I've never been truly impressed with my EcoXGear Boulder Extreme (it goes back and forth from sounding tinny to sounding muddy unless you're just blasting it) which is super frustrating for a $250 speaker. The best way I can describe the sound it like a Bose SoundLink mini, but with more bass available and a much wider volume range. It just rocks, to the point that I'm probably going to retire the ExoXGear. Also- don't skip on downloading the JBL app! I get burned out on needed to have a separate app for EVERYTHING, but this one is worth it so you can access the three band EQ, which works REALLY well. Super impressed with this speaker!

My JBL charge three was starting to go out, after a good several years of hard usage still working but accurate at full volume. After testing the JBL at Costco, I decided to look for. On Amazon refurbished and I’m so glad I did.It is a bit heavy, but that’s understandable for good base speakers, the sound clarity is excellent all the way up to full volume. Full volume is too much for one room unless possibly it was filled with people or you just enjoy really loud music.I love that all the instruments sound well separate in tonality and the clarity of base tone. For outdoor use, it’s great too. Just right for a neighborhood backyard party, but not as loud as a PA or some next level volume.What would be exceptional, would be to have two or three of these linked together triangulating a backyard party for music. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and I love it.

With the refurbished version I was hoping to not have to return it because of missing or broken parts, but mine came in brand new condition while spending more than $150 less than a brand new one. It is a bit uncomfortable to carry and lug around because of it's massive size, but the deep bass and great sound quality make up for it and is a part of my everyday life. I have no experience with it around water so I have no clue if it is truly waterproof or not. It is easy to charge and has a long power life in quiet environments and also has easy to understand directions and the Bluetooth quickly connects to my phone. Overall, worth the massive purchase and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a speaker.

I purchased the "Other Option" instead of renewed for $5 more and the unit I received was brand new, sealed box, never opened. Just in case I also got the 2 year warrenty for $25 so better warrenty and still $75 cheaper than the advertised "New" version. I love this speaker, it rocks. Glad I went this route.

Bought this for Summers in the backyard around the pool, and it's AWESOME! Loud, with deep DEEP bass - everyone who comes over is impressed at the sound quality. It's waterproof and seems to last forever battery wise! It's bigger than the previous JBL we had, and it's weighty, but I would expect that to deliver the highs and lows as well as it does. Get one, you won't regret it.

Great sounds, works well, but battery doesn't last 24 hours as described. More around 7-8 hours.

This thing is LOUD! We took it to the beach and it survived the sand. Did not try getting it wet though. Easy to connect and long lasting battery.

It's a great speaker dont get me wrong the only thing I was kinda disappointed was that there are no sound settings like different ways it sounds like more bass or trouble stuff like that but other then that it's a great buy
