Firstrax Kitty Bongo Ball, colors may vary

This product was already falling apart before I opened the bag they were packaged in. The glue (or some sort of plaster) is dried up and flaking off of the toy, causing the carpeted covering to start coming up. The whole toy is coated in what is probably the dust caused by the cracked glue/ plaster, and even if I washed it, I wouldn't feel safe giving this to my cat, who likes to suck on the puff balls at the top. I would be scared that more of the crumbly white stuff would come off, and he could end up swallowing something. I'm returning these and hoping I can find a better quality item somewhere else.

First let me make this clear. I do not own a cat. Much to my dismay. So, I am an active Godmother of sorts to other people's cats, And I have bought this cat toy now for two of them, soon to be three of them, and have received rave reviews, One cat, who has been difficult to please, has had a ball with it, Guards it at night, Very, very cute, I think these cat toys that Amazon carries are wonderful inexpensive gifts to surprise cat owners with, I try to take advantage of them as often as I can, Along with the free shipping I get with my Prime membership, it's fun to do,

My cat loves these toys, and the price was right. However, when I pulled it out of the package and brushed off the lint that was all over it, a metal staple jutting up from the base sliced open my thumb. That could easily have injured my cat's paws.The cloth cover on the base of this Made-In-China product is mostly glued on; the glue on this one is crumbling and flaking, and the cloth is already falling apart.Very cheaply made, to the point of being dangerous. Avoid it.

I bought this for my cat to play with, but as I was introducing it to her by gently pulling back the fluff ball and letting it go, the fluff ball came clear off and shot across the room!! Now, to be fair, my cat was certainly interested in THAT, but I expected this toy to last longer than five minutes. Especially considering how much I paid for it.

My cat Quarter B loves this toy. I sprinkle catnip on the base in the carpet covering to make it more fun. When she gets tired of active play she sometimes lays on the ball. When she finally releases the ball it springs right back for more wiggling playtime.

Princess played with it for half a minute before losing interest. It may be that she was over-stimulated with toys, but after having it hit her nose a couple of times, she decided to just leave it alone. It's put away in her new toy box, maybe she will like it better in a couple of weeks.

I drilled this to the wall and it was played with a little bit but then kitty lost interest. Tis the way of many toys. The toy would be pretty durable and useful if out kitty liked it.
