A defined winner! Anyone with a 99 - 02 Silverado or 00 - 06 Tahoe/ Suburban should consider these RamJet4x4 headlights. Instructions: Amazing printed color instruction book had easy step by step instructions and additional pages of information and trouble shooting that covered all the what if's. Installation: Easy and straightforward. All blubs are included so it's literally as easy as removing the old housings and plugging in the new. I've used AJP brand of Amazon lights in another truck and they required hard wiring to connect the led daytime running light bars. These lights did not require any additional wiring. The convenience was great, plug and go. Build quality: These lights look and feel great! Compared to other aftermarket housings they are heavier and the plastic brackets are thicker and harder. The adjusters are a different design from factory or others but are easy to adjust with a flat screw driver. The clips on other lower parking light/turn signal housings are a common failure point and it seems that RamJet4x4 has addressed this by building these with a thicker plastic and adding reinforcement metal clips. The lens are crystal clear and the last page in the book has care instructions. It says that the lens will not yellow after long time use. I just installed these (March 2025) and cannot report on the long term durability but will update this review after some time. Performance: These lights have a nice warm color and project light onto the road right where you need it not all over the sides or into the trees. The Z shaped beam pattern mimics the design of modern automotive lights on higher end vehicles giving your old truck the lighting and safety you need to drive at night. Unlike replacing the old halogen blubs in your factory or aftermarket housings with LED's this unique design prevents the light spilling out all over place which can blind oncoming drivers. Additional note on Performance: These lights have a built in feature that allows BOTH the low beam and high beam blubs to be on when the high beams are turned on. This was a nice surprise since usually this requires a relay or additional device installed in the fuse box to achieve. Overall review: These lights are as bright or brighter than replacing your bulbs with LED's and have a great beam pattern that keeps and projects the light onto the road much further distance than factory or aftermarket housings. I would buy definitely buy again for my other trucks.

Good lights

Right out of the box they are not working properly. Wasted 3 hours of my life out in the cold troubleshooting... true review, they are going back... garbage...

let me start off by saying that these headlights suprised me at first cause of the price they had!! So i decided to give them a try since all the other ones that are made for the chevy tahoe are so cheap made and either they break so easily or even that water gets in them so fast and dont last long which suck so bad !!! So first thing i enjoyed and loved was when i received these headlights , they came in so nicely packed in the box and i can tell right away they weigh more than the chinese made ones.when i picked them up . also i can tell right away that they are more durable and better quality. i didnt had to worrry about sealing up all around with silicone since they are already made for that.So goin on to the installation at firzt it was so confusing and hard to get them to operate the way there supposed but the directions on the paper were clearly and understandable. I went ahead and put them on i had trouble at first cause either the halogen bulb wouldnt light up or the drl but i figures i had to to mess with the wires and turn them around 180 degrees till i got them all to turn on! plain and simple i didnt had to deal with any bulbs not fitting or the headlights not fitting in since everything is implemented in the headlight housing!Took me a good 2 hours to get them to fit and work perfect and old boy i love the results they fit in so nice juzt like the original stock ones dont have any gaps or openings everything was just perfect. i love the drl led strips and how bright they are too and at night time they left me speechless cause they are perfect and it lights up the whole road and i dont got to worry about any adjustments made to focus the light on the road! i fell in love with them and even ever since then i been getting so many compliments when im driving.They saved my life on the road now that i can perfectly see and not worrying about the light not being bright cause these halogens are super bright and they make the road so visible at night no matter where im going too! anyways it was a hassle putting and gettimg them right the first time but that cause these are a brand new style that are just plug n play i dont have to worry about buy them led bubls or anything cause theyre all integrated inside which i love so much! i was so happy with the results and i love the drl led strips and the halogens it made my truck look so much newer and beautiful! i have never in my life expected some awesome headlights like these ones! they just changed the whole look of my truck and it was a simple just plugnplay i gave these headlights a 5 star review and will never again buy those or any other chinese headlights!

The bottom line up front is this: these headlights look great. I was looking for something to replace the clouded up, worn out OEM headlights for my 2002 suburban. Although I had replaced the incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs, they still just looked blah. You can see the difference in the photos. I love the modern, sleek look these new headlights bring to my truck. On unboxing, the headlights are well packaged and feel very solid and high quality. These headlights fit perfectly to replace the originals and they're very easy to adjust. They use the same mechanism as the originals. The install is easy enough, but because these are integrated units, there are plugs you have to insert into your vehicle's bulb sockets, but they fit snugly and are very clearly labelled. I used several wraps of electrical tape to make sure they stay connected. This is especially important for the DRL connector, based on the Chevy design. The tape will keep the sockets connected and protect them from any weather elements. I did have the issue where part of the DRL lights didn't come in, but reversing the orientation of the plug solved the issue. I also had to use the diode plug on the negative control lead (labelled as such) to get both lights to come on for high beams. I didn't have any issues with the hyperflash -- my turn signals work great. I think, all in all, it took me about 45 minutes to replace both sides, and that included the ops check and adjustment. I love the way they look and they're nice and bright, but I will say these are integrated units, meaning there are no bulbs to replace. So, if one light goes out, you'll have to replace the entire unit. Although, with LED lights, I expect many years of usage before I need to worry about needing to replace them. All in all, I'm excited and love the new look of my truck!!!
