Spent ages trying to get this to work, now given up and sending back (last day before end of Amazon send back period!)Surprised as have a number of the CTVMAN cameras and they have been good (presume same supplier!).Suffers from careless design like USB ports too close together, HDMI output oversized so items cut off screen (could be poor software though)The software is disimal to say the least, typical far east user interface that is designed by a color blind teenager. Total illogical in layout - but worse doesn't work.Normaly use HKVision NVR's which work great (just that their cameras are rubbish). All the CTVMAN cameras work great with it, but not with their own NVR crazy.Basically save yourself the hassel, spend a little more and get something that works!If they actual got it to work, then it would be a great piece of kit with good specification, but till then big thumbs down.Should add their IP cameras are very good!

This is a half made product. I purchased it six months ago, and still trying to make it work. No success.The only thing working is the menu system itself.Some field names are just not appearing not in English not in Chinese.Some fields has no labels, and there is some Chinese content - who knows what...in such screens even the buttons are without any text on them.The 4 camera preview works on the TV via HDMI, but on the computer I was not able to make it work.I am working in IT cca.29 years... tried all possible tricks.The mail sending either sending mails every seconds, either never, but not possible to get motion notifications at all.Do not waste your money. Sped a bit more, and buy something real.

The unit functioned well and was easy to set up, however it ran very hot, vent grill on the wrong side of the internal pcb so no direct ventilation on the components, ran for a year then finally gave up the ghost and the display outputs failed. So for the price was it a throwaway after a year? Maybe so but a pain to replace and have to set up something in its place. Is it worth investing in something more expensive? Difficult question, design flaws do not reveal them selves until its bought and plugged in! so buying on spec is always difficult.

Do Not Use the UK Power Adaptor,Use the original European Power AdaptorUK Power adaptor is under powered and will not work with certain Hard Drives.
