Goodness, Scott! 2000+ chords in 16 pages?!?!?Yes, fellow guitar players, you read that right. Scott's amazingly compressed system for guitar voicings/fingerings/usage. Some study time with his approach will produce huge dividends.

The impression you get when you look at this book initially is that it will be a complete chord system. That is not true. Although many of the chord voicings work in theory, a large portion of them aren't usable because they don't sound very good. The system is also not presented very clearly. The idea is to use enharmonic thinking so that one chord can be used in multiple contexts. The presentation is very complex and confusing- and I'm an advanced level professional/ performing guitarist with 2 degrees in music.Part of what makes the presentation somewhat confusing is that it is based on colors for different chord types.Save your money and buy Steve Khan's chord book. Khan's book has better voicings and is organized well.

There's not a better system. Learn these chords along with the notes of every key and the fretboard and you're on your way.

I always like to study everyone's approach even though I'm working and recording, this has some really great voicings. It's nice to see how Scott looks at chords, worth checking out.

Only complaint is it's such a small book. Some excellent ideas and wish there was a bit more detail.

it looks like very few pages but there is a world of chords with only a few voicings.... i tried the pdf first but had to buy the real copy because of the color system... you need to get into this to get superb harmonic sound, the funny thing is that the guy in the cover is not henderson hahaha, maybe the editors thought that he doesnt have "cover" looks!!

this is not a easy book to study from.(difficult book)

Think it'll take me a long time to get my head round the ideas in this very short little book. Kudos to Scott Henderson for this approach.

Metodo estremamente sintetico ma ricco di spunti per migliorare l'accompagnamento.C'è anche una parte iniziale in cui spiega l'utilizzo delle scale minori melodiche in relazione agli accordi.Qualche pagina in più per spiegare meglio come utilizzare il materiale non avrebbero guastato.Adatto a chitarristi che conoscono lo strumento, sconsigliato ai principianti.

Endlich ein kurzer und bündiger Überblick über Akkorderweiterungen mit System. Durch das spezielle "Baukasten"-Verfahren des Autors ist eine gute Übersicht möglich. Auf jeden Fall für ambitionierte Gitarristen interessant!
