22 Multi Pocket Vest transformable into a Shoulder Bag (x-Large, Blue)

Bought the Bagket-22 in blue size XL for a multi-flight Ryanair trip around Europe after Ryanair introduced a new baggage policy in which the only free baggage one can take in the cabin is a 40 x 25 x 20 cm bag (large laptop bag size) to fit under the seat in front. The Bagket-22 is a great piece of travel kit with plenty of different size pockets, some with zips and some with velcro fastenings (take care what is put in the velcro pockets to avoid small things falling out). Material appears tough and the zips strong; shoulder strap almost of car seatbelt quality? The only time one will wear it in 'jacket' mode is likely to be at the departure gate to smuggle all that extra baggage on board the aircraft for free (lol); the rest of the time it will be carried by the shoulder strap in 'bag' mode. Although I required the XL size in order to 'wear' it, to my mind, it makes sense to get the biggest sizes (L or XL) to maximize the carrying capacity as a bag, even it is oversized on the wearer for the very short time it is worn in jacket mode whilst getting one over on Ryanair and other airlines?

Regarding the fitting of the product, I ordered the largest size, the XL however I would rate it only as a L. Although it is too tight for me to use as intended, I shall keep the vest as the concept and idea is good and suits my purpose. For my travelling I only require a couple of kg over the cabin baggage allowance so I reckon that I could leave the vest unfastened but still use it for the purpose intended. The first 'outing' for using it will be in a couple of days time so I am hoping the airline do accept the vest as 'non chargeable' extra cabin baggage. The 22 multi pocket vest appears to be very strong and versatile although a little on the heavy side for such a lightweight material but I imagine it will serve for very many flight excursions to come.

Sorry for my bad english, i am german. This multi pocket vest is great. I fly more then 20 times and the most with ryanair or easyjet. And the rules from the airlines are stepp by step more bad. I Need no more suitcase or carry-on and save money on every flight. Let the airlines change the flight rules as you wish: with my vest, I take everything with me ... at no extra cost. Yes, this quality comes at a price, but the vest is really worth every penny.

Arrived well packed on time. Used for first trip on Jet2 to Fuerteventura. No problems at Airport or with Jet 2. Did not overfill ,only put in 6 kg so it looked normal to wear. A couple more trips and it will have saved me more than the price I paid for it.

Best investment you’ll ever make. You need to be shameless to get your money worth but I’ve saved hundreds already!

Used this on a multi-leg trip and found it very useful. A few smiles as I put it on before getting in the check-in queue as people look on jealously or astounded at the ingenuity. It holds so much that there is a temptation to take more than one needs; but for normal trips it is a good way of simply dispensing with any checked-in baggage, thus saving time at arrival, avoiding worries about lost bags at baggage retrieval, and saving costs of checked-in bags.It also means one has a ready-made compartment-storage system for short overnights. It seems pretty well-made and converts easily and quickly from bag to jacket and back again. I'd quite like a clothing strap on it so it could be hung up the same as any jacket (for instance in a small space) to give easy access to the pockets overnight. With the pockets crammed to maximum, it was hard to zip it up but this wasn't a big problem for the few minutes at check-in (however, if you need to dash between terminals, the belt keeps it all secure and it can be much easier wearing your luggage than carrying it over your shoulder!). I think everyone of my friends (and some of their friends) that have seen it so far have said they hope to buy one. Could well be part of anyone's 'travel made easy' kit.

This is well designed and made - unfortunately the material is like nylon and I find the garment uncomfortable. The other thing that worries me s the lack of any padding for the laptop pocket which means you end up rising damage to your laptop to save on carryon.
