CANDLE MAKING BUSINESS: A Book On How To Start And Run Your Own (Crafts & Hobbies)

Book is aimed at the absolute novice. Most of what has been written is blindingly obvious but I'm sure there are those that would appreciate it. Took no longer than an hour to read through. Not sure I gained anything substantial from this time spent but at least it wasn't any longer. American publication. Kindle version layout not great. Errors in opening chapter.

I really like this book but my only criticism is that it should've been printed in colour with links included, you can tell this is a straight rip from an ebook as it mentions links etc and the links haven't been included in the book

Absolute awful. Don't waste your time. You'll be able to pick up a pamphlet with more ideas in than this book.

A useful book on making candles. I would recommend it to the absolute beginner.

Well written with straightforward help & advice. If you are thinking of starting a business read this first it will help you avoid the pitfalls.

I'm going to try and be as nice and constructive when it comes to criticism as I can be. I don't feel this ebook contained any useful information, as it was pure common sense. Unfortunately I am much aware that common sense is no longer very common at all, this is one reason that I gave this ebook 2 stars instead of just 1. The other reason for my upgrade in rating is due to it having legit information, no matter how small, concerning the most basic of basics when it comes to starting a buisness. This being said, I had to force myself to read it once I hit about half way through, the reason? What few points the author makes are made and remade throughout. Imagine being back in high school, you're having to write a 3 page essay and you only have a paragraph to say, so you reword and resay the same point over and over again until you've met your goal. This ebook was very much written in this fashion. During the final stretch of pages I was scimming, until I finally reached the finish line and was done! Also this book is riddled with backhanded ads for other writings, another turn off in my opinion. The bottom line, if I had paid for this, even $1, I would be requesting a refund. Luckily it was free, which is the only good thing about it in my opinion.

I am new at running a bit so thought reading this could be helpful, however I feel like I already knew most of the information that was in this book. I think this book would be better for those who are total beginners and have done little to no research about how to run a business. Since this book was extremely small, and I did not learn much from this book... I'm giving it four stars, instead of 5.

With the economy in the state it’s in and finances being a bit tight for me personally I’m always on the lookout for a way to bring in extra income. When I saw this book I knew I had to have it, not only for the business aspect, but to also fulfill my creative need. It did not disappoint. In fact, for such a short book Kaye Dennan did an extremely thorough job of covering everything, from marketing to product manufacturing. I definitely feel both equipped and motivated now to give her ideas fruition.Great book and a great resource - I definitely recommend it!

I gave a 3 star raiting for 1 reason this book is not exactly a how to.With that said the book itself does have some good general information and advice.overall I am satisfied with this book in the aspect that it gave me a little more knowledge then I previously had.I recommend this book for people looking for some detailed advice and nice tips for starting a candle making business, however be aware this is not a step by step how to book most likely because laws and regulations very from place to place.Pros:good Tips and adviceweb links for useful marketingcons:Not a how toI found a lot of information that was left out directing me to buy another book from the same author.

As an author of several survival books, I commend the author on this work and found it very informative. The skills of candle making can be used to produce a great business to make extra money (financial survival) and in an emergency challenge having candles about and the knowledge to make them could be a life saver, or at the minimum bring back some light if things have gone black. Great book, get it and learn this skill for survival or for a great business.

If you already know how to make candles and are considering selling them, this ebook is full of good ideas to help you get started.

Great book

I was kind of disappointed in the book. I sat down and read it in about 30 minutes. Everything she wroteI pretty much already knew or had an idea about.

Lots of info new to idea of soap making.

It is basic information you can get from any book on starting a business. I wanted setjing specific to candle making found one for free online.

It's okay. Not as detailed as I thought it would be and very short.

For somebody interested in making a hobby into an income earner the author covers many areas of small business marketing and operational matters. Smart ideas combined with quality products need to be conveyed to the marketplace. I found many useful ideas in the author's in this short but succinct article.
