This is a nice enough product although the front of the book wasn't perfectly printed (doesn't show on the shelf anyway), but when you take into account that the lock prevents using the bottom part of the box, it is a really small space. I wanted to put in 2 watches, a ring, and a tri-fold men's wallet and the items barely fit. I'd recommend going with the bigger one that also has a felt lining. I ordered that one also. Still debating about keeping or returning this smaller one.

I love these secret safes, they are made with real pages so from the outside it looks like a real book. Best secret safe out there, especially for people who read books, it blends in with all books. Only negative is if you are super forgetful, the keys are easy to lose so I suggest having a spot where you always keep them.

I purchased this book safe as a gift for a friend who needs to be able to hide things while she goes to school- and we were honestly shocked at how real it looks. The storage is exactly like I expected- so not huge. But it’s honestly perfect for what she will use it for.

Looks nice, but compartment is really impractical and tiny. And I'm afraid that the cover is gonna fall apart on me. Gotta be very delicate with it.

Its exactly as described. A bit heavy maybe? But on a bookshelf its perfect.

Returned. Came damaged...

The lock is installed incorrectly, and either way I turn it, the latch is facing into open space inside the metal box, and not coming anywhere near the metal tab it is supposed to lock under. Otherwise, it's pretty good, though not quite "real" looking since the binding is flat on the sides, unlike a real book with a pushed-in valley on either side, top to bottom, where the cover bends when opened.
