These string lights are perfect. I've purchased them to illuminate an apple tree in my rear garden. The lights have been carefully attached to the tree's branches using cable ties and the effect is brilliant.I particularly like the fact that the lights operate from just three D size batteries, which are housed in a waterproof battery box. I didnt want the hassle or expense of an electrical solution. Batteries are far simpler.The string lights are also supplied with a small remote control which enables you to remotely switch the lights on and off. You can also select one of eight lighting styles. Very handy.I'm chuffed with this purchase. My tree looks incredible with these lights attached. This has been a great little project, with very little expense. I would recommend these string lights.

The lights arrived in good time and the glow of the lights look lovely however I'm very disappointed with the remote control function which only works within 1.5 meters distance from the light receiver. (I have made sure the batteries are good quality and new)The whole purpose of buying these lights was because of the remote control so I could operate them from inside my house to the outside trees which is where the lights are currently (roughly 3.5 meters distance away) having to walk outside to switch them on and off defeats the whole purpose of buying them and I feel I have been mislead with the remote control function and feel the seller needs to advertise the operational distance in the advert.

High quality Christmas lights which you just add 3 AA battery's which are easy to add, no screws. Has all the options wrote on the back for different settings eg flash and still plus a lot more. Bought these to go outside on my gazebo with other lights which I turned off for pics. They look really good and my wife loves them. They are very bright. Would be great on a Christmas tree. I Would definitely recommend them

These are great lights and don't be put off by the fact they use batteries, I have used them from 8:30 til 19:00 every weekday in the office since the 5th December and they are still on the same set of batteries shining just as bright as first use. They are so good I bought a second set to light the tree in the front garden.

These are long enough to cover a 5ft tree. They look lovely in my garden. The only reason i didn't give five stars is the the remote control range is very limited and the lights do not come on automatically. Otherwise I am pleased.
