Does the job very, very well. When I got a new laptop, I realized I hadn't thought about the the fact I would be losing the camera cover on my old one. It had been there so long, I never even thought abut it. Once I got my new computer, every time I sat down I felt like that camera was an eye watching my every move. (If you're thinking, "Paranoid Much?", the answer is YES, I was feeling ridiculously paranoid.)Regarding my photo: The cover is black, not gray or faded looking. I was having a hard time getting the cover to show up in my photos since the edge of my laptop is black too. So I shined a bright halogen light on it which makes it appear lighter in color than it actually is. (The bright light also lit up every tiny spec of dust making me a tad embarrassed to post the picture.)My old cover had been a free "gimme" picked up at a conference years ago, so I had no clue what kind/brand it was. I used a post-it flag as a temporary eye patch while I researched the multitudes of webcam covers here on Amazon. Good grief, there are certainly a lot to choose from! I narrowed it down to two styles and ordered both of them. Once I had them in my hand and could see how well they worked, This one was the winner, hands down. I got some alcohol and wiped down the area where it was to go, let it dry, then stuck that baby on. It's been there for over a month now and it is just as reliable as my old one. It is firmly attached, and the sliding cover hasn't budged one bit, keeping that eye completely blind to what I'm doing.

Thin and mostly unobtrusive. Would like to see logo removed.
I just got these and so far so good. What I like:- They are thin. Like really thin. I can easily close my iPad cover without a problem. Same with my laptop closing. I was really worried about this because a bulge in either case it unacceptable.- They are small and (mostly) unobtrusive. See the first two photos of it covering and not-covering the camera- Sliding them back and forth is smooth and they stay open (or closed) even though there is no "click".What I don't:- The logo. The black face of my iPad now has a little logo that is sometimes rotated 90 degrees. It is distracting and alone the logo doesn't tell you whether the camera is covered or not (the camera lens itself is sort of hard to see). As an improvement why not make the part of the loop green so that when the camera is uncovered, which you really want to know, you see the green and when it is covered, i.e. the safe and probably most common position, it is black? That way you're only distracted by something out of the ordinary when it is uncovered. The third photo shows what I mean.Unknown:- How well they stick.

Not big enough for TV camera but great for phone with magnetic phone cover
4.5 starsI really like these. I just got them & they seem to stick well (but time will tell how well). They slide easily. I have one on my small lab top and it doesn't interfere with closing it (like some people have said). I also have one on my phone (Samsung Note) over the top of my tempered screen cover. I have a really nice phone case with magnetic closure & it didn't interfere with the magnetic closure. The only reason i did not give this 5 stars is i actually ordered this for my TV and its not big enough for the camera on my TV. Please create one big enough for my TV! 😊

Easy to apply, good for iPhone and Mac
The webcam cover comes with easy-to-follow instructions, not that it really requires instructions. It's incredibly easy to apply, and fits perfectly over the front camera of my iPhone 7, as well as my 2013 MacBook Pro with retina display. The slider works seamlessly (and I've been fidgeting to my heart's desire with the one on my phone), though I'm unsure of the product's longevity.Be sure you wipe down the surface of whichever device you plan to apply the product to — just use a wet wipe or a glasses wipe to clear the surface of dirt and dust, otherwise it might weaken the adhesiveness.

Perfect and convenient!
If you’re as paranoid as I am about cameras on your devices, this is a great product! While it may not be common, hackers that get into your device can actually access your camera too if they choose to.I was always covering mine with tape and thin cardboard, which left residue from the tape and I had to replace it with a new piece of tape if I removed it when I did want to use the camera. I no longer have that issue. This is so convenient! Install once. Slide the cover over when you want camera access. Slide to close. It slides quite easily, but I’ve never had it slide without intent. There’s even a red dot to let you know it’s open and the camera lens is exposed. How great is it that it’s a three-pack for multiple devices?

Shape
The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because of the shape of the opening. The camera hole is square and the opening on the cover slide is horseshoe shape because of the part that slides which is oval. It probably does not interfere with the camera, but I haven't tried it out yet. The slide works well.

Works great glue give you time to rest before it sets up . Give you privacy
They are a little hard to pot in place I found that if you turn on the camera so you can see the view it makes it easier to place where the camera is not blocked. The glue give you time to move it before it set up . Works excellent to block everything and open easy to use the little red dot 🔴 help you know it open we have put it on all camera we have in our home just Incase a contact drops in to say hello you can hear them and just open the camera door for every one to see each other

Thin!
This product is very thin -- which is what you want. However, the adhesive could be "stickier".This item works best with single-camera phones. It will likely not work with phones with multiple lenses as you would need to use 2 or more units and they won't line up.For a single camera phone or small laptop integrated camera, it should work well -- provided that the lens is not a wide-angle -- in which case this cover may reduce the field of view.

The thingy to hide yourself comes off
I think it’s perfect for a laptop or a tablet but not a phone. The little thingy to block the camera kept coming off and finally the rest of it came off as well. But it still sticks to my laptop and to my kid’s tablet.Over all I love it, I recommend and would buy again. 6 is not enough though!

Nice invention
Pros:-It does a good job of protecting you-I really like that red dot to help you notice if it's open or closed-It is holding well so far (been a couple of weeks with moderate use)Cons:-The plastic moves when I close my laptop. So when I open it again the cover is sometimes open. With the red dot it's usually easy to notice but if I'm busy I might not notice it right away and leave it open. If the company worked on that it'd increase the efficiency for sure.-Instructions could be clearer

Small, subtle but flimsy
These covers JUST fit over the cameras on my two laptops, any smaller and they would cover some of the lens. Therefore be very careful when placing the covers on your device. I degreased the laptop surface with all purpose kitchen spray (windex, mrs myers, etc) to ensure good adhesion. The glue/tape seems to be pretty strong and after 3 months, there is no sign of the covers coming off. Would purchase again.

Could be more adhesive.
I've been using this for my iPhone SE and my MacBook Air. It works great IF it sticks. There have been about 5-7 times that I've had to stick it back onto my phone. There has been about 3-4 times that the slider has fallen off and I'd have to pop it back in. Overall, it's pretty good and I haven't lost any yet. But I could see how someone might go through these no problem because it either falls off or the slider falls off rendering it useless.

Very thin
Used these on my laptops and they did the job they were designed for...they are very thin and tiny to handle... I would suggest you turn your camera on to position them easier...
