A novelty toy
This arrived the day after ordering and was packaged well. It comes in a nice large pink box which my daughter gave a big wow to when opening on her 6th birthday. The product itself is easy to use, the tank is nice and sturdy. I have only given 3 stars as I know this will lose its appeal as a plaything very quickly, then we'll be stuck with a tank of water around the house. Also, the batteries in the mermaid stopped working within a few hours. I haven't replaced them yet but I'm pretty sure it will be the same with the next ones due to experience with this kind of toy. But anyway, my daughter is happy and it didn't cost the earth so if you have room for a tank of water then go for it.

Ok quality, poor battery supply
Set is of reasonable quality for the cost, daughter likes it. Only three stars because of battery issues. The mermaid came with 2 x batteries already installed, these were completely flat. The 2 x spares in the box lasted only 5 minutes!!Suggest if you are buying this you also order some Duracell LR44's ( Amazon do them for Ā£3ish for 10) otherwise you will have a disappointed child when the mermaid stops working after 5 mins!

Don't do it!!
Arrived after a few days of ordering but the advert for this toy is extremely misleadingš. Mermaids do not swim in all directions at all, they float either at the top or the bottom of the tank in spite of altering weights and the lights are dull and barely noticeable. A very disappointed 4 year old on Christmas Day.

Disappointed. Waste of money.
Disappointing. Our mermaid doesn't swim after only a couple of days and to be honest it wasn't great when she did. Don't waste your money this is a real let down.
