Great Mechanical Board For the Money
So far, so good. I am writing this review on the keyboard. I always liked the older IBM style boards. But, finding one in beige that was a little updated was difficult. This is pretty close with the style of the white keys, yet up to date with the heavy aluminum base in black. You can turn the bottom LED's off in case you're wondering. The keys are super nice and clicky with the Cherry MX Blues. It has the right amount of loudness to affirm that you are hitting the keys. They are just the right amount of pressure. I debated between these and the Greens, but I think I am happy with these. Again, the keyboard is heavy, so You don't push the board around. It is a bit thicker than the regular wireless style keyboards of late. Also the keys are taller a bit, so it takes a little typing to get used to that. But it feels great. I don't think I am going to have any problems. They keys are the double shot style, so you won't have the letters wiping off any time soon./ And if you're wondering about the multimedia keys which are not shown in the pics, they are on the function keys, you just have to press function to make them work, so you still have volume, email, pause and play, all that stuff. All in all, if you are longing for a clackity clack keyboard, your looking g for the Cherry MX Blues, has a great pressure point for the regular typist, sounds great. Only thing again I noticed, is the height is the overall board is maybe a 1 cm higher then your old board if you've been using a cheapo $20 board. Spend the money if you spend any amount of time typing. That being said, I play exactly zero games, and have no clue what you're looking for in a gaming board and if this is something you want. I also use a roller ball mouse, which after a little time feels 100 times better than a regular muse. Maybe I like nostalgia, but hey, if it works, don't fix it right.I would like to say, a couple of the keys, have a little strange font on them. The letters are slightly different, but look good, but the lay out of the secondary functions on the key it self, is a little different. That can easily be fixed with a simple key change to some you prefer. But hey, more the n likely, if you're buying a keyboard like this, you are the kind of person that is going to use some custom keys anyway, right? LOL!Spend the money on a mechanical board, even if it is not this one.

but I'm already extremely pleased with this
This is my first mechanical keyboard I've ever bought so I can't say how well it bodes against others, but I'm already extremely pleased with this. Right out the box the keyboard feels very heavy and has a premium build. The blue switches feel great to type with, all the added function keys are extremely useful, and the effects the keyboard makes with the backlight are awesome and can easily be adjusted for brightness. Again I'm no mechanical keyboard expert but I really have no complaints about this so far and am extremely satisfied with this purchase
