Invention of the century!
When my daughter was only a few weeks old I tried to clip her nails and accidently clipped her toe, end up with a little red dot that turn out to be blood! Since then I was super nervous when clipping her finger or toe, until I found this! This nail clipper solved my problem instantly that I can see what I was clipping from the spy hole. six and a half year on I'm still using the same clipper (well actually I bought two just in case I lost one as I don't know how I can cope without it). It does take a little practice to get use to the new way of clipping but it didn't take long. I've seen some review complaining about the fact that it works differently, well that's why this is special! Definitely recommend it to new parents who has the responsibility to clip little fingers.

Easy to use and stress free for baby use!
Really good for babies as it helps you see the nails. Used this on both our kids and bought some as gifts of new parents to be.

Will never cut flesh!
If you have ever accidentally cut some skin off the top of your baby's finger, you will no doubt be desperate to find clippers that will prevent this from ever happening again.... These are them!!! You can use these in the semi-darkness, without wearing your prescription glasses, and merrily chop away with no fear of cutting flesh, only finger nail! That part is amazing. The downside is that they leave the nails short but really sharp so you HAVE to use a nail file after or the child will be a dangerous baby-scissorhands. This prolongs the whole experience which of course you wanted to avoid in the first place. If you're a risky kind of person, you can always let your child play with the clippers while you're doing the filing to stop them complaining, safe in the knowledge that they can't cut their own finger off.

Not suitable for babies.
I’m ordered these because Fleur de Force recommended them and they seemed good. I ordered the orange with the file but got the white ones. I’m not sure if the orange ones are smaller but I would most certainly not use the white file on a baby’s fingernails. They are about the size of toenail clippers. The file is also quite rough for little baby’s sensitive skin.I’m giving 2 stars because I will likely use them on myself so they have some use but are not suitable for babies.

Couldn't live without it- buy it!
I was so scared to cut my babies nails with baby scissors and would bite them when she was a newborn but not only did this make her nails look bitten but im not a nail biter and found it a bit tedious and time wasting... since using this baby clipper I have been able to cut my baby daughters nails with no problem. It is so easy to use and you can see the nail before you clip it so there is no anxiety involved. Nails can be clipped short which is ideal as my baby constantly likes to scratch herself, leaving red marks and scratch scabs! But not anymore since using this nail clipper. I do wait until she is asleep as the recommended app does not engage her and she's a bit of a wriggler. Anyway, I never write reviews but I had to for this, it has totally changed my life as a new mum. I wouldn't use anything else!

Takes a bit of getting used to
Because they work differently, you have to adjust to a different way of cutting your little one's nails, but actually once you do get used to it, these are really good. They cut smoothly rather than chopping. I've had a lot fewer complaints from my sons with these than with our previous clippers, which made it all too easy to catch their finger. With these, I do find I have to use them at a certain angle, or it's too difficult. The window is handy, but again only from the right angle! One thing I would say is that I sometimes find they don't open wide enough to begin with.

Very sharp, but a bit bulky...
Ok, so there isn't much you can say about a pair of nail clippers, but these promised a little more than they delivered and I find myself unable to rate them higher than three stars. On a (relatively) positive note: they're incredible sharp. It seems daft to say that they're too sharp, but I think they are; particularly when hovering around the soft, delicate and ever moving fingers of my young daughter. The little cut out, visibility section is ok, but doesn't really help once you've contorted your wrist sufficiently to match the awkward position of the young child's finger after an extended bout of wriggling and resisting. Finally, they're quite bulky and not all that easy to use... the aforementioned wriggling requiring a degree of agility not particularly afforded by the design. However, my daughter is still under 2 years old and her fingers are tiny, so she may grow into them, particularly when we're able to limit the wriggling to that of a hyper-active octopus.

Brilliant!!
I purchased the clipper after seeing Tom plugging it on the Apprentice 2013 final. I never knew it existed but have been looking for something safer ever since I chopped my son's thumb tip cutting his nails recently! I ordered this after reading rave reviews on Amazon and I've not been disappointed. It arrived within 1 day which was fab and moreover it comes with goodies. The baby s file and better still the baby distraction app which works a treat! Cutting his nails has been so much easier and no blood this time!!Good work Tom!!4 star rating instead of 5 due to cost - anything baby related hikes the price unnecessarily.
